The online really bothers me. I HATE the Wii's online... it's one of the most rediculous things in the industry and it's a clear company failure in my opinion.
However, Nintendo continues to give me the best single player experiences, and 3rd parties are offiering unique titles not available on other consoles.

This would have to be one of my complaints. The Wii could benefit from a few system software updates and changes to really update everything (not necessarily flaws, but give more options), maybe a HDD to go along with this, but it's a good system.
I own the Wii, and I dislike it because of how bad it looks on my HDTV's (even with component cables), and the lack of REALLY good games, games like Mirror's Edge, Resident Evil 5, Gears of War, The Orange Box, Metal Gear Solid 4, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Gran Turismo 5, Project gotham Racing 4, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and so on, it's all just so bland. The only reason I have for actually HATING it, is that Metroid Prime 3 sucks, it's like a sub-par FPS instead of the FPA series we all know and love.
Because going to gamestop I have to push my way through the throng of middle aged parents with their troops of little kids looking at the wii and ds games up front while I try to get to the real games section ps3/ps2/360....the game store didn't use to be that way. It almost feels like there should be a curtain for the ps360 section....like in a movie rental store with an x rated section. The kids and pre-teens screaming and running around drive me crazy...I miss the days when the game store was filled with you know real gamers, not soccer moms and the cub scout troop. It's sad that I even own one. i got it for my girl for ddr and wii sports and galaxy/twiliet for myself.....Then I got a ps3 and haven't touched the thing in over a year! She has touched it once, i think i need to sell it especially since i got rid of my sd tv and the wii looks like garbage on a native 1080p display.

Because god forbid, kids shouldn't enjoy games.
But seriously, I don't like watered down ports of games on other consoles. Hopefully this trend will end, and developers will provide alternate versions of games for wii instead of watered down ports. Games like Shaun White Road Trip and Skate it seem to be doing a good job of providing wii owners with a good unique experience instead of a weaker port.
"Fad threads" must be one of the most idiotic reasons i have ever seen for closing threads :lol: Well GS has standards to live up to, it as one of the worst mod policies ever created by mankind, and thats quite an acomplishment.

If the threads responding to original thread contain content that is equal to or more than the original thread and the original thread is not considered spam, then the logical deduction is that the responding threads should not be considered spam.
It just isn't fun, no matter what anyone says. My Wii just sat and collected dust for the year I had it, aside from a few sessions of No More Heroes, the only game on the system I enjoyed.
im gonna be honest here. I kinda like the wii, BUT i REALLY dislike the whole gimmicky motion controls. I recently bought a couple old favorites from the virtual store and im having a blast with them.
their stupid motion sensing is worse than the ps3! the ps3 keeps track of where it is and how it got there, the wii's just keeps track of which axis it's moving on, how fast it's moving, and which way the little ball inside it is, which shows it how it's rotated.
Like people here have said, the online is terrible. I don't even have an online connection for my Wii and I will admit it is terrible. None of the Wii's supporters should tolerate crap like that. As far as the motion controls, it is a gimmick. It is a good thing that some third party games do not incorporate that crap into their games in mass; those are the games I usually buy. Nintndo should make it mandatory that all games, including their own, have an option to play with the classic or gamecube controller.
I hate it because its overpriced piece of garbage. cut the price by half and it could be used for some fun drinking games.lmao. but nah I don't actually hate it. just dislike it because of the inefficient control inputs.

Why would it be spam if the object of disscussion is diferent? Being Offtopic is also not allowed so how on earth can we discuss about X system if a simillar thread was made for Y system before? We cant discuss about X on the Y thread, but we cant open a dedicated thread either cuz it then becomes a "fad" thread. Its stupid
And btw, i wasnt blaming the messenger, just the message ;)
i bet if i make a thread like post one reason why you hate the 360, or post one reason why you hate the ps3. those two threads would be locked after 2 post its just not fair lol. this thread needs to be locked NOW, this is the main reason why i'm starting to hate this place and the mods wont do anything about it at all . this sucks
I don't hate machines that is just crazy. The only time I would hate a game machince is they start to turn on us and start attacking. So until they can hurt us I don't hate them.
