New Rising Storm update. Loving it !

Whenever I want night ops, I turn to the STALKER games. In this case, the Call of Chernobyl mod for CoP.
Revisiting AC Unity. I still contend that, while there might be more technically impressive games, AC Unity has hands down the best art direction and attention to detail in any game ever made.
It's also a damn fun game, arguably the best AC game since AC 2.
It is visually stimulating and breathtaking.
I posted two different pictures: the first, a basic interior shot, but look at the detail in all the goldleaf, woodwork, and other stuff; in the second, a picture of Paris from up high, complete with busy streets, large cathedrals, river...all in great detail.
@mrbojangles25: unity was my favourite AC up until origins. I'm currently playing Syndicate which im enjoying pleased so far the modern day stuff is kept to a minimum.
Chimera:1 - Me: 0
An exoskeleton without sprint capability is a sitting duck if caught in the open by a chimera.
Zulu is such a wimp. Taken down by a little mutant rat.
But, after a few save reloads, all five in the squad made it to Pripyat.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 (not my screenshot). This game is a masterpiece!
One of the greatest games ever made.
Probably a bug with the AtmosFear mod for Call of Pripyat. It's a Zulu Found mission. But, no Zulu? Only a bunch of snorks.
I went ahead and reinstalled Call of Pripyat + AtmosFear + Absolute Nature v4.04. On the previous install, Tuna was missing during the Dredge Mission. The same with Zulu in the Zulu Found mission. On this new install, Tuna is back where he should be. I'm assuming Zulu will too. I must have borked the game files in the earlier install.
I have to have AtmosFear installed because I find tiring the endless rain upon rain in the vanilla weather. Even the Tropics weren't as rainy. ;)
Anyway, with so many playthroughs, I'm getting quite efficient in the game. ;)
This is one of the few times I plot an action (against a chimera) and everything go according to plan. Tracked it at a distance and opened fired while it ate. Its nasty temper brought it in close in no time. The chimera was perfectly capable of knocking me off the train (and inflicting massive hurt). But, it needed to gather itself for the leap. Every time it tried, I pumped it full of 9x39 mm slugs. No chance at all.
On the PC:
Trying to reach 1 million RU in Call of Pripyat.
On the laptop:
I have no intention of letting Shadow of Chernobyl become a backlog. So, I reinstalled it.
Both games have Absolute Nature mods so they don't look too butt-ugly.....otherwise, vanilla.
I have plenty of room on the PC hard drive. So, I reinstalled Shadow of Chernobyl on it as well. Of course, it's probably just me. But, the SHOC mechanics feel like a regression to me.
@jun_aka_pekto: I think we should rename this thread to jun_aka_pekto's screenshot blog. You are a screen posting machine. LOL
I used to hate the STALKER games back in the disc era. Once the GoG versions came out, I've really latched on to them.
I've had ample time to play a number of STALKER games ranging from several modded Call of Pripyat installs. I tested them, deleted them, reinstalled the definitive combination I liked. Then, there's Shadow of Chernobyl which I do not want to end up as a backlog. The only one I haven't reinstalled is Clear Sky.
And now, playing once more Call of Chernobyl with its much bigger zone.
It's hard to get tired of CoP (and CoC) when there are so many mods that can change how the game itself plays.
Jumping over some anomalies at Wild Territory.
Made it to Yantar and wanting to buy stuff from Dr. S.
One thing I like much better in Call of Pripyat is making me work to find artifacts. In Shadow of Chernobyl, I just pick em up.
