Post your most underrated game last generation

Rules: Cant be a huge block buster that had huge hype leading up to the games released like CoD, Skyrim and others. For example heavy rain or some crap like that. I am talking about games with little to no hype until you got to play it.

For me, the most underrated game was.......

one of my favorite and games I had the most fun playing.

Before Binary Domain went free for ps plus members I was gonna say that.

But now I'm going to say SIngularity.

No. He said games that had no hype, no media cover, none knew about them and most people didnt play. Also no block buster type games. Demon Souls is AAAe GOTY of 2009, LBP won a ton of awarads and had a huge hype, Journey won tons of awards and also AAAe, Infamous was made by a well known dev and scored AAAe.

Another thing all those games you mention have in common is, that just about everyone has played those games/they sold really well.

Sorry that's wrong. He said huge hype and huge blockbusters, comparable to CoD or Skyrim. From the list, that would only apply to Infamous, which is debatable, at the most. Furthermore, being overrated is purely subjective, especially since the thread title asked for your most underrated game. Seems like I'm not the only one here having difficulty reading. If you can't handle my honest, completely truthful opinion on the thread, that's all on you.

@mrxboxone Holy shit any time a thread like this comes up I always post The Outfit. Nice to see some more appreciation for this game.

By far one of the funnest multiplayer shooters of last gen. It was both action packed and tactical which gave it more depth than most multiplayer shooters these days.

The most underrated game last gen game for me was the AAA title puppeteer title for the Ps3

Ar Tonelico Qoga. Sadly, last in the series at this point.

I have that game. I gatta get around to playing it.

Alpha Protocol. So many reviewers said it was crap but it did a lot of what Mass Effect was trying to do way better than Bioware. The gameplay was unbalanced and not great but the dialogue choices were great and had serious consequences.

Sonic Generations and Trackmania Stadium were Amazing.

I concur. Loved the game despite it being poorly designed at times.

I believe this game to be the closest thing to gaming perfection ever created.

I could write a novel on how deliciously well-perfected the level scaling, difficulty scaling, enemy damage/effects/speed/size/health, class balance, level design, weapon balance/selection, gun play, and just about every other conceivable aspect of the game is.

My only gripe is that I have a level 6 in every class, and if I want to invite someone new to the game, it doesn't make them a level 6, or me a level 0, so it's pretty much idiotic to play together (leveling up provides bonuses to each class)

But if you have a group of people who are all the same level playing together? Mhmmmm. 11/10 would bang violently

I think I'd have to go with Cryostasis though, that game was like a Russian Bioshock that I personally enjoyed more than its American counterpart. Shame it ran like garbage though.

Others i'd nominate would be Natural Selection 2, the Risen games (in particular the second game) and Two Worlds 2

Proving motion control can be awesome, and that it's NOT a gimmick. Terrific cel shading, and sword combat that may never be experienced in the history books of the gaming industry
