because of some glitch or something that small that might be missing in environment, but no one ever talks about how rich the ps3 colors look and how much depth that adds to the image. put any multiplat side by side and if u look away from nitpicking you actually notice how bland games look on the 360. at least one reviewer did this justice finally when he deducted points for the 360 version of dragon age origins for this exact reason, but i think every game should be rated like that from now on, because this issue has been overlooked for a while now.whoDat_whoDatPost on your real account.

i know for a FACT wwe smack down vs raw 2009 looks beter on 360 than ps3, period.
ps3 version was locked at 720 p while 360 was 1080p. a side by side compraison also shows this.
usually, multiplats 360 do indeed look better than ps3 . users w/ both versions agree on this.

The 360 usually has more anti-aliasing on the multiplats than PS3, thats mostly why I prefer to get them on 360. Less jaggies\ as good as it being higher resolution= better :D
Unless of course you prefer jaggies to a clearer image...

The reason this happens with some game is the 360 version is ported to the PS3. The 360 has like 2 cores or something while PS3 has 1 core but a port does not take advantage of the PS3s SPEs hence making a port inferior on the PS3. IF devs where to port games from PS3 to 360 games would look much better. Bayonetta for example is inferior on the PS3 purely because devs did not want to spend the time or money to make a quality port or better yet make it on the PS3.[QUOTE="whoDat_whoDat"]because of some glitch or something that small that might be missing in environment, but no one ever talks about how rich the ps3 colors look and how much depth that adds to the image. put any multiplat side by side and if u look away from nitpicking you actually notice how bland games look on the 360. at least one reviewer did this justice finally when he deducted points for the 360 version of dragon age origins for this exact reason, but i think every game should be rated like that from now on, because this issue has been overlooked for a while now.Yankees718

That's the ONLY comparison screenshot I've seen where there is a glaring difference between the two consoles. Every other comparison with multiplat shows such a miniscule difference that it doesn't matter. A few more trees in the background doesn't qualify as something that dominates in looks. These are consoles people, PC will kick the crap out of both no matter what. It's like people are debating which sucks less compared to PC, 360 or PS3.
360 does have for the mst part better loking multiplats sometimes its obvious but in others u really cant tell unless u try to look for it but games like bayonetta thats clearly better on the 360 so ill be buying it for that but ill be getting ff13 on ps3 tho
multiplats on ps3 are not designed to take full advantage of the hardware.
soooooo, ports will never run as good as the system that the game was build on.
Get used to it, it's most likely not going to change this generation.... Oh well the PS3 has so many exclusives that it matches all the multiplats i buy for my 360 lol
Yeah, like Ghostbusters...oh wait, that was designed for the PS3 and ported to the 360 and still looked better on the 360.multiplats on ps3 are not designed to take full advantage of the hardware.

This is constantly brought up here on SW. I truly don't care that much. I'd much rather buy the version that has the best performance overall than the best graphics. For example, I've read that Dragon Age: Origins looks better on the PS3 but I also read that the framerate is better on the 360. Going by that, I'll be picking the 360 version of the game soon.ForsakenWickedenjoy the longer loading times. they are frequent.
id bet my left bollock that youve never even touched a 360

sorry for a late edit didnt notice my post til now :Si was gonna say im gonna hold you to that LOL.
Multiplats tend to be better on 360 as tbh its easier to code and its got a better GPU without workarounds compared to PS3.
you say multiplats looks better on the PS3
this other guysays multiplats looks better on the 360
this other guy says mulitplats looks better on the PC
another guy says mulitplats don't matter exclusive look better on PS3
then another guysays exclusives look as good on 360 like Gears
then another guy says no way Uncharted 2 is the graphic king
then another guy says no Crysis is graphics king
then another guy says we don't include PC where taking about 360 Vs PS3
another guy says 360 has more exclusives with better scores
another guy says the PS3 has loads of AAAAEE and like everyone of them
another guy says the 360 has Splinter Cell and Mass Effect 2
another guy says there not exclusive their on PC
another guy says but there not on PS3 so there Console Exclusive
and this goes on for a few more times until everyone gets bored and leaves. Until another topic like this starts it all of again and again and again
All multiplats games look and play better on the XBOX360.......that is a fact.Panosola
theres been a few tht have been deemed better, look at Dragon age and look at burnout paradise. So you mean most look better :P
All multiplats games look and play better on the XBOX360.......that is a fact.PanosolaIn your little fanboy world that is a fact, but in the real world it isn't. They are very few, but nonetheless, there are some multiplats that are better on PS3.

ive tried several multiplat demos on both consoles (e.g. Bad Company, BF1943, Batman AA and some others) and ps3 version always looks washed out colour wise

fallout 3 is the only game i admit was messed on the PS3 technically. Thats it. But to even that out, look at oblivion on 360. Why do you people care about (usually) a very small different in background graphics, or a drop in frame rate that is barely noticeable? Someone said AC2 is head and shoulders better on 360 then PS3? WTF... They both have small technical issues, granted the PS3 more so than the 360, but come on. The difference is so small, that if you were just focusing on that no way you could be having fun playing the game.MethodManFTWScreen tearing is quite an annoying thing to see while playing a game, it was one of the problems with Uncharted 1. AC2 has been shown to have significantly more screen tearing on the PS3.

Pretty much this. If 90% of games are developed on the 360 and ported to the PS3, chances are they will be better on the 360. With the exception of the just released Dragon Age: Origins, I do not think there are many multiplats that are superior on the PS3.
