Super Meat Boy got nominated.

It's a pretty barren year. It should be pretty easy for Journey to secure a nomination.

Among games released thus far, Journey tops my list. Diablo 3 will probably be in the conversation, too.

I'm just going to flame on and say MoH:Warfighter.

Imo, it would either be ACIII or Dishonored.

But then again, I guess only time will tell, lol...

Probably AC3, the only reason any other game has a chance is because Ubisoft has been wearing us out on AC with yearly releases.

However it has

-Best team at Ubisoft developing it, working on it for 3 years

-Brand new engine

-New stealth mechanics

-Unique setting

I think thats going to overwhelm the competition, im pumped for it.

GS has been harsher on shooters lately.Literally no shooter besides gears 3 got over a 9 last year.

I disagree, Killzone 3 was amazing. I gave it a 9.5

Gears 3 was great as well, even though it's TPS so not sure if it counts.

UC3 was also amazing, but that's not really a TPS, it's really a Action-Adventure game with some TPS elements tossed it. Uncharted is a mix of a bunch of different game types.

No AA game has ever even been nominated (to the best of my knowledge) so that means Diablo 3 is out of contention for GOTY.R3FURBISHED

Well ME3 seems to be one of the biggest disappointments in gaming history, so it wont be that. Halo is played out, so it wont be that. CoD is really played out, so definitely not that. AC3... may have a shot. Diablo 3 is looking like the clear victor right now. Blizzard just needs to do a bit more polishing and we will have perfection.

Would have to be Journey. It's gotten more praise than any other game this year. Also the highest scoring meta downloadable exclusive game.ispeakfact

I'm gonna guess ACIII, maybe Dishonored if it really turns out amazing, and it looks awesome to me! But my guess for GS's GOTY is it will be ACIII.

I have D3 on there because my real life friend was 100% sure D3 would grab the most goty awards, I told him ACIII is the sure winner. I made a thread to see what GS thinks
