Predict the rating: The Orange Box

8.0-8.5

I'm not bashing HL or anything, but its pretty much worthless if you have the past games, and Portal seems like a couple hour arcade game. While episode 2 is bound to be interesting, but if episode 1 is to be a reminder, its gonna be pretty short.

If they actually made a whole new remake of the past games, then it might go to 9.0-9.5, but its simply the exact same thing with better textures.

I think it will get a 9.0, though I think it deserves to beat Halo 3. Stupid new score system...

9.0 easy. Hell, maybe a 9.5.NerdMan

Yes every one of the games are bound to be good, we already know HL2, EP1 are good. TF2 beta is amazing if you pre ordered on the PC like me.

i'm not questioning the quality. i'm wondering what score they can give. Can they give a 10 just because of great value?

in other words, can you give a bundle a rating?

So I'm gonna go with 9.6. IMO its probably the best deal you could ever hope for. You get 5 games, 3 of them brand new, a rerelease of one of the best PC games ever and its episodic sucessor. What could be better? If they added Half-Life: Source to the mix, but thats okay. And you get this all for $50 (60 if you're buying 360 or PS3). Better than Halo this year? I think so. I would much rather play TF2 than Halo online any day.InfinityTomorro

lol someone hasn't been on the forums for a while. "predict the score" threads are called "hype" threads now, and the rating system goes by .5 increments

Nothing more. I don't see it getting over 8.5, I really don't.

lol it will be interesting to see what scoreHL2 will get on the 360 considering its as old as Halo 2, which scored 7.0 on PC 3 years later.
