I'm just kidding too. (I bet this post is going to get deleted anyways since mods cant take racial jokes around here. dave chappele disaproves of gamespot forums)
Despite what the doom and gloom sayers tell you the Economy won't get much worse and it is going to most likely rebound in the middle of 09, then every idiot in this country is going to say" OMG OBAMA FIXED THE ECONOMY IN LESS THEN A YEAR", and everyone will put him on a pedestal for something he didn't even do. Meanwhile I'll be facepalming and wishing natural selection would return so all these idiots die.MasterC5It's already apparent that if he doesn't fix the economy that Bush will be blamed. Obama could do nothing for 4 years and still get re-elected. Bush was a terrible president, but it seems that people are giving way to much credit for someone who hasn't done anything yet.

He didn't even finish his tenure as a Senator before he started running for Prez. Change! Hope!

Honestly, I just dont get what all of you Obama kids see in him. The fact that Obama even thinks he has time to sit and play games is pretty pathetic considering the fact that he's taking over the hardest, most stressful, highest pressure, and most important\dependant job there is in most likely the world.

Jack_Bauer07
I completely agree but with all of the "change" and "hope" hype he has behind him, his supportesr will begin blaming others, possibly even Bush himself for whatever screwups Obama may make. It'll take a while for people to wake up.
You mean like how GWB's supporters blamed Clinton for everything that went wrong the last 8yrs?

Yeah, cause short-term stimulus packages are really the right way to heal this economy. It sounds like another George Bush "solution" that has failed to work. When the FED is able to keep printing money out of thin air, and with no oversight, then it becomes worthless. There are much deeper problems that need to be addressed if we want to fix this economic crisis, but then again, it seems like they're not interested in solving it, but just prolonging it until the dollar hits rock bottom. Say hello to the Amero.

And I didn't hear any neo-cons complaining about the FED printing money with no oversight to fund the Iraq War when GWB was in office .

Typical lib using NEO to describe a con. Stop Tivo'ing the Daily Show for news...or listening to NPR in your car. If you cannot see how SILLY his campaign championing the message of Change is now after he selected his cabinet then you are blind. Viva la Government controlled Healthcare as crappy as Canada. Seriously you don't have anything but Limbaugh to use do you? I haven't listened to him since he was on TV (yep I'm older). And yes indeed the c on's were soundly defeated by the mass outing of the typical non voters coming out party...the showing of the uneducated downtrodden welfare addicts were out in DROVES! Believe me...I stood in line and still feel dirty. I loved listening to "It's about time a brother is in the White House" "I'm voting for Obama cause I hate Bush" as examples. Not once did I hear anyone even talk about his political stance or experience. I have voted across the board in my years and have never slanted myself to a party...I vote for whom I feel can support my priorities...it just so happens welfare reform, smaller weaker military, government controlled healthcare, and reduction of my civil liberties isn't high on the list. Your getting on to him for having a different view and your letting your discontent for other views get in the way of a decent argument. I see it all the time in people whom get to involved in politics, people will not open themselves up to any other way of view. But I have clearly pointed out that I voted on issues and not on a hatred for a 8 yr president with no way of being reelected. For the record I am in Chicagoland resident. I have my reasons for not trusting this guy but more importantly listening to every single issue and his polar opposite positioning to mine. Except his feelings about Afghanastan - which I tend to agree on. LosDaddie - we have officially hijacked the thread (sorry Dreams but you KNEW darn well this would happen! ;) ), and we are blessed that we CAN vote. That argument would hold some water if I was a neo-con or typical conservative, but I'm not, so both of you are incorrect with that assumption. I'm an independent, but usually side with the libertarian point of view. It's sad that you guys are caught up in the 2 party dictatorship, so therefore they can scam you all into thinking you're getting change, but in the end, it's just more of the same. Republicans/Democrats have been getting hoodwinked forever.
