Yeah, probably. Pretty much no one has one though.
Always been a fan of Steam hardware.
Steam Deck is very much an evolution of Steam Controller.
Sad they discontinued this, so unique.
Never meant to get one, but somehow found myself ordering one a few months ago and like many reviews and users have said, it's changed my gaming habits even at home, let alone allowed me visit my S.O.'s place for longer.
It still needs some work in terms of compatibility and game storage (steam needs some sort of game file compression system for those 100+ GB titles) and I would like to more features for ease of connecting to the big screen (like a standard issue dock and streaming apps for gaming mode), but Valve made a very strong foundation for their future handhelds.
I doubt it’s as good as you’re making it out to be lol. Most games are best enjoyed on a nice big screen.

Which the Steam Deck can do.

I'd say I'm underrepresenting the greatness of the deck. 😎 I'll start being more forthcoming with my assessments!
But seriously, "best enjoyed" is relative... I just ripped through like ten games over the past few months and each was delightful. Better experiences than were offered when these games released.
I'm not trying to pretend I haven't been gassing up the steam deck for a year and a half... I preordered it immediately on the day reservations opened. It's just that we've now got thousands of verified games an amazing team at valve constantly updating it, the best emulation and the best portable experience nce anywhere in gaming.
I pre-ordered a Steam Deck too. I went all in, so I got the higher end version and also the official dock. I have to admit, I was a bit worried at first because I'm a console gamer first. I thought there'd be a chance that I was wasting my money.
But I got a really good Humble Bundle deal (100+ games and 2,500 worth of software for peanuts) So I thought that in itself would make the Steam Deck pay for itself.
But to say I'm impressed with it, is an understatement. I'm playing games I'd otherwise not play, and with so many cheap games, who needs Gamepass? Especially when you can make your library huge in no time. Some games just work on it better than playing on a full screen, but if you want to full screen then there's the option with the dock. It's such a flexible machine. Plus the emulation available.
I love it.
@SolidGame_basic: see... Testimonials from the base.... I may be UNDERrepresenting the deck 😍
