Price for the PS4 & Predictions

So i've been surfing until i see this, anyhow it seems just a prediction imo.

So what do you think will it start good or slow start?

I'm expecting £350 to £400.

But I'm not spending that much money on a console when my PC play games better.

Graphics and performance. There are so many things that are categorised in graphics such as anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, textures, draw distances, density of objects, effects, DX11, tessellation, etc.

Performance is the one that makes PC games much more enjoyable. Console games are capped at 30fps (drops below that often, actually) and PC is open to performance depending on the hardware. It's mostly 60fps for me.

I also have the choice of playing games on the keyboard & mouse or controller.

$400 is what i spec from sony.tormentos

At 400$ it will sell like hot cakes with some good games coming up, sony is going strong. I think the price will decide who will make a good first impression

leaked prices were $430 and $530 respectivly...I'll go with thoes.

$500, maybe 400-450 if they feel like bleeding more money.

If Sony wants to really move numbers here, they better price it at £300-£350

Such horrible logic , its like saying everybody has a ps3  so when the ps4 launches  nobody will upgrade to ps4 because they all have playstation 3's.   WTf am i seeing here.     

PC gamers upgrade when they want to upgrade, The majority of steam users using average video cards is up to them, Obviously most will not have specs stronger than a ps4.   I fail to see how this is like some reasoning as to why ps4 is stronger than pc's?  .   You still gotta go out there and buy that flippin ps4 to have specs stronger than a ps3.          Same for pc, You gotta go out there and buy specs that rape the ps4.  

This logic you consolites have is terrible.   When a hermit feels like upgrading, that hermit will upgrade. He will not be dictated to when to upgrade. If hermit is satisfied with performance lower than ps4. That is a satisfied hermit!

 

 

When we talk about the advantages of pc gaming over console, Nothing you can say rebutes it, because pc is THE MASTER RACE. There is no such thing as limited CPU or Graphical power for 5+ years, Every year pc hardware gets better.  There is no fathonable way a console can even compete with a pc hardware wise, so stop trying to pretend it can. 

PC is the master race, not because an elitest says so, but because its true..   It can emulate every console, Create the games you actually play and has the sky as the ceiling for how strong you want your pc to be.   Tell me what console specs could beat 2 titans in SLI?  nothing. Thats the beauty of the master race.  You have options.

In Australia it'll be around 850-1000 mark. Just like the PS3

$400 is my expectations

$400 to $500

My god, will you shut the **** up about steam stats and how most PC gamers don't have a rig comparable to a PS4. Why the hell would I or anyone else bother upgrading at this point!? You do realize your ****ing new consoles aren't coming out until the very end of the year right? I am not even gonna consider upgrading until Intel releases its Haswell line as I would rather not buy a dead platform (ie Z77, LGA1155), and even then, I still probably won't upgrade my GPU until I actually see the system requirements for next gen games.  

Between $400 and $450. If it's $500, that'll be the top end model.

The entry level PS4 will be $399, the high end $499.

with its low end specs i am hoping for 350
