Same here man... After all the rumors that were true for the PS4. I would think that since these prices have been leaked on quite a few websites in a relatively short amount of time that is completely possible.
I am a sucker and will buy the most expensive model... I am REALLY REALLY hoping that like the PS1 and PS2 that we can use removable memory cards. My PS3 memory was full relatively fast on both my first and 2nd PS3's... I absolutely HATE deleting save files.. why and the hell can we not have the option of hard drive OR memory card?
Anyways, I lost track of my thoughts... lol
Where I was going with the whole "buying the more expensive version" was that I am sure no matter HOW BIG the hard drive is that I will undoubtedly fill it up... :(
Yes, I know that you can put a larger HD in the PS3... however, I dont know much about that kind of shit, and I would not void my warranty doing something that I know nothing about...
A USB flash drive is just as good as a memory card these days.
I think Sony will launch with two models,
$399 and $499
With no option to save to that media it is kind of irrelevant though...
I know I can save smaller game saves and then go to the save folder and copy/paste it onto a flash drive... however, I dont believe I would have the option to LOAD that save file from that media after loading a game making it completely useless. I do not want a three ring circus where I have to jump through hoops of fire to retain game saves and then restore them to the PS3 if I actually ever intend to load them again. I want removable media ala PS1 and PS2 memory cards. I want hardrive/removable media option.
Maybe I am wrong about this, and I sure as hell would like some more information if I am, because I am certainly open to ideas. If somebody could provide a link if it is possible, then that would be clutch... however, like I said, I'm way to damn lazy for taking multiple steps to a "better" solution.. heh.
I'm all about ease of access.. which is probably why PC gaming has not ever fully captivated me.
