The 360 has only had 1 drought of exclusives and that was 2009. The PS3 had a drought in 2006, 2007 and not looking as good for 2010 so far. The Ps3 has had 1 great year while the 360 has only had 1 bad year, your logic isn't so great.

The 360 has only had 1 drought of exclusives and that was 2009. The PS3 had a drought in 2006, 2007 and not looking as good for 2010 so far. The Ps3 has had 1 great year while the 360 has only had 1 bad year, your logic isn't so great. PS3 is pretty much dropping exclusives every month while 360 owners are left thristy for about three months at a time.

When it finally happens people will alrgely be past caring. And the ones that still do (lemmings) will just spin the numbers, say they're 'inconclusive' due to shipped/sold, or the innacurracy of numbers from other regions, or whatever. Predictable and pointless.
If it does good for PS3 if not oh well doesn't make me like it any less good machine with lots of good games. Plus my xbox elite will be getting lots of useas well.

I was referring to the rest of the year. And I am not dismissing those games. Maybe I am not thinking of them as they dont interest me so much except for Heavy Rain. And yes, I do own a PS3 my PSN is in my sig for crying out loud!
By mid 2011... Maybe.. I still however doubt that will happen. The gap will be near 2mil but it's kinda hard to imagine the PS3 surpass the 360 in sales. Either if it does, cool lol.
Yeah it might surpass the 360 at some point but I dunno if it can catch the Wii. Still either way looks like this gen each console will be quite successful with no complete domination like we saw with the PS2 last gen.
I do have some doubt that a significant percentage of casuals who already bought the Wii for motion controls will rush out to get a PS3 just because it followed Ninty's example.

Before that it always stayed around 8 million give or take. Whn MS releases their redesigned Xbox the trend could easily reverse.

Yeah, the PS3 totally had a drought in 2006. I mean, sure, the console only came out in NOVEMBER 2006...but that only means 10 whole months of NOTHING.
And considering the PS3 had Resistance, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, all in the first year it was out, I wouldn't call that an "exclusive drought".
they thought that about the psp vs the DS and also that the ps3 would be number one. Now they are saying it'll eventually get the #2 spot. they don't really know.

You cannot be anymore of a bigger fanboy....PS3 was out for 2months in 2006, yet you don't count the 360s lackluster games for 2months in 2005 and pretty much 2006 as well, PS3 2007 inaccurate as well (we had Heavenly Sword, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted, Oblivion better than 360s) and so is your 2010.. (Heavy Rain, FF13, GOW3, and still 7months to go)....if there's anything with a drought, its that god awful built 360 of radio shak parts, your fanboyism blinds your logic
