This new footage of BF2 proves 360 can take killzone 2 graphics. This is Bad Company 2, DICE's second installment of the console-based Battlefield spin-off. And it is totally looking awesome!!!!! The game returns with "Destruction 2.0," Coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on March 2nd 2010.

yes and no. the graphics in BFBC2 look to be on par with KZ2 based on the sheer scale of the game compared to KZ2. but i cant say anything yet since i havnt played BFBC2 obviously.

but if you want a better comparison go watch the CE3 tech demos. if they can put some OBMB in there KZ2 doesnt stand a chance

why not? i mean KZ2 will still have some of the best graphics on the consoles this gen (only to be surpassed by uncharted 2) the CE3 and crysis 2 should give it a run for its money both graphically and i was saying with OBMB visually as well

Lol its a multiplat aswell if it was exlusive i would have taken the topic with far more merit tbh.KZ2 is good its atmosphere felt right for the type of game it was pretty gritty and how Helghast was akin to the German regime with a thrown in feeling of stalanistic looks thrown in.

It was pretty goddamn immersive in its scenery at times and its desgin:P

graphics is not about sheer horsepower its about how they are designed aswell.

even Uncharted 1 kill it

and uncharted 2 is untouchable on consoles

when people say KZ2 has no color they more refer to the fact that every scene has a predominate color that takes over everything. most scenes this happens to be grey most of the other colors are subdued and would fit into a duller pallet. in one of the videos it was orange.

We will never know. The only way to measure is to compare the PS3 version of Battlefield and Killzone 2. If the PS3 version of Battlefield is judged better and PS3 has the inferior version of Battlefield then you can make that claim. But it matters not because I hear Uncharted is thebest looking game on any system period.

This has already been proven with Rage & the CryEngine for the PS3/XBox 360. Both Rage & the CryEngine are superior in visual quality to KZ2.

ill be the first to say the game has color. i was debating everyone before release and after in the pc arena who said KZ2 had no color.

Umm, I wouldnt say on any system, there are pc games that beat U2in everything from screen resolution to textures to scale and post processing effect. However, it does look likely to take the console graphics crown.

On Topic: Bad Company 2 looks really good. The thing that has impressed me the most is the sound. Bad Company 1 had some very realistic sounds, this also cranks up the shadows and the lighting. Very impressive Dice!!

I'm sure you can recognise that games have a certain artistic colour palette, right? Some games go for a film noir style in the same way movies like 300, Sin City and many other movies are. Killzone 2 intentionally goes for a subtle palette, its grim, its post apocalyptic, its supposed to be that way. However, you'll find many more colours than just grey or orange. You know full well there are.

The footage wasn't even that impressive. I mean the ground was almost textureless.

Where are the KILLZONE 2 caliber graphics at in the link?
