[QUOTE="Zeviander"][QUOTE="killzowned24"]Here was one months worth of last year. And? Lots of them doesn't make them free. And once you stop paying... *POOF* they're gone. It sure is a great deal for a cow who has no money to actually buy games. Maybe this is why PS3 have been selling so poorly. People are just waiting for the PS+ version? The service is optional and really not that expensive. It's not like you're forced to have PS+ unlike XBL Gold. How long do you expect to keep these games on your hdd? by the time you beat them psn+ will have new games out by then. yea its a rental service for some games. but also any game you buy at a discount you keep forever.. trying to downplay psn+ is really weakdanish-death

what idiots dont understand is that if gamers decide to pay for PSN+ which is an extra service offered by Sony is cause they want to use its features...
When PSN+ has games for 'free' on offer, is because you pay no extra money on top of the Service subsciption fee..
If one pays for PSN+ to use its features/services and Sony doesnt offer free games as a bonus/incentive the subsciption fee would still be the same...
When will people realize that the word "free" is used in a manor to distinguish games that are at no cost with paid subscription compared to the instances when you get discounts through PS+. We don't really think it's free, and we understand that we are paying for a service. PS+ gives you the opportuinity to buy many games at discount. What other word are we supposed to use to distinguish the diffrence between these two differnt types of deals?

If one gets PSN+ to benefit from the discounts and /or other services, then thats where he/she is allocating the cost for $50 a year... Spend $50 to get discounts throughout the year on games.. That's paying money for a service/scheme..
So getting a free game or more, is a bonus and is considered free simply because you wont pay additional money on top of the $50 yearly subscription...

I hear ya and as I said... semantics but mah man, there's just no escaping the Fact, Sony is not offering the game to regular PSN ( no fee ) users. :oNow, if they did that, there would be no argument at all, free is free but really, it's a cool bonus and enjoy. :)

well guess everyone wishes others would give loads of stuff for free... no gamer would complain for getting free games for sure :)
even if its not the same, I remember getting a Free 007 Bluray when i registered on PSN back in 2007... for me thats a free gift, however others might say, well considering PS3 was so expensive back then you've already paid for it...

When I take into account some great discounts/deals i got last year it was well worth the $50...
So for me I pay money to save up money in the long run... The Free games being given to subscibers is a bonus !!
Now if one wants to allocate X amount of $ on every 'free' game out to make it look like you payed for it, thats fine with me... personally I got PSN+ to benefit from other services/features...

you're doing it again  its not free :? unless you're talking about the games ultraking posted.. the rest are not free. It's not like you're forced to have PS+ unlike XBL Gold. danish-deathI used my 360 for five years without Gold. Got a sh!t ton of play time out of it. Only reason I paid for Gold was so I could play Halo with friends. Now I'm likely going to get Borderlands 2 because everyone else I know has it and plays it. These paid services are optional. My problem with PS+ is people are trying to make it seem as if there is something being given out for "free" despite the subscription fee. There isn't. Not only are you paying for the games, once you stop paying, they get locked out. Personally, I'd much rather own the game, so down the line, when PSN is down, or when it goes offline (I doubt the servers are going to stay up throughout the entire life of the PS4), I can still play my games in my collection. It's one of the major reasons why I've stopped buying most XBLA games as well, because one day the servers will go down, and I won't be able to play them anymore.
