Sony didn't really show off anything new of Home at E3 besides a couple of new spaces which were pretty sweet. But the thing about Home is that all of us here visit games forums and sites like youtube or myspace... so Home will obviously be a hit for most. It's the same experience only customized for owners ofa console AND integrating the gaming experience of the console into the forum/social site.

PSN has already been doing well about bringing together the gaming functions for free. So with the update of Home, it really can't lose no matter how you look at it.

Really, If I am not mistaken, its PS Home being nomiated for Biggest Flop, and Winning. Not Xbox Live, Live is God in the online gaming world, Just accept it.

When will you learn to quit being a fanboy? They've delivered far more than their competitors when it comes to their latest system. And if you'd spend less time worrying about their system and just enjoy your own, you'd be alright. Those that have actually tried out the PS3 are very pleased with it and can agree that Sony delivered this time around.

I take that back i didnt see vid before i posted .One guy says Home is the biggest flop in e3 because The lips of the avataar doesnt move when u type. Wow just wow

The biggest flops were:

Halo 3 360. Seriously that was a Ridge Racer moment. No one clapped or anything, when Moore held up that ugly thing. One single person went 'woo' to break the akward silence :P

Mario Kart wheel. I mean its a pastic wheel the Wiimote fits into, and 3rd party makers sell them already. People in the audience laughed when it was 'revealed'

To cows: Xbox Live is better, regardless if you have to pay or not. Home may be able to catch up, but Xbox Live has been around for over 5 years, I love Sony but Home won't be able to compete with XBL.

Oh, and I heard you can't invite a friend directly to a game from the PSN, theres alot of things you can't do(on PSN)that you can on XBL. I'm not a lemming either, infact most people call me a Sony fanboy since im always on the defense for PS3. (Thats to the cows, so they don't attack me in a tantrum)

You can invite directly from Home, which most likely is a basic function of a future PSN update before Home is launched.

Home cant even be compared to XBL as its more of a social networking thing, than XBL - which is an intergrated online service. Its like comparing well - Second Life to MSN or Myspace - a crude example.

Still out of the world of console online PC is still 'it'. Heh I just felt like adding my 5 cents:P

I actually have a Ps3, so before you go spitting your nonsense, think! And no I am not pleased with it yet, its not up to par with my other game console. When you say they have delivered more then any other next gen console, I hope your not comparing with the 360, because they sure have not. PSN ID XBX360, I have not played a game on my Ps3 since December, and that was Resistance Online.

Actually most Beat Testers who are using home have described it as a great new thing, with more functions coming on it's way.

Only thing i like about XBL is it's competitive for the achievements but that can also be a **** to as most ppl know when people try to get achievements.

Well the worst thing about XBL is the users themselves.

Every U.S game I play on I hear n***er, ****er this and ****ing that, it really annoys the hell out of me. And the amount of arrogant tools, or idiots from any country is astounding.

Seriously ive been online gaming for a decade now, and never in my life have I encountered such douchebags, as on XBL. There are still plenty of good blokes though.... Thank god :P

Even in that video they were saying things could get added onto it. It has a lot of space to grow. it's just the beginninf. They're concern was morethe possibility of it flopping, if no onedecides to bother withit when it gets released.

if i were sonyi'd integratemore games into its world. So younever really feel like you're bored. Things like echodrome could be built into it

E3 itself was the biggest flop of E3. This E3 was probably the worst one I have ever experienced. Last E3 was great in comparision to this..I mean...at least two of the rivals did a great job back then. This time, however, only Sony delivered, but their delivery was quite average imo. Microsoft and Nintendo (especially Nintendo)...I have no idea what the latter was thinking. Microsoft's showing was "meh" mainly because they were no interesting surprises. What they displayed had already been seen and it was clear that they focused on this year alone; but I personally know all I need to know for this year.

What a disappointment...TGS better deliver; but I doubt that it will. I'm relying on Leipzig.

Home takes you away from the real reason to game, to play online and hang out playing bowling and pool games.-Ninja_Dog-
