PS VS PS 2 VS PS 3 VS PS 4 VS PSP/VITA, which is your most fav SONY gaming console?

PS 3 - Metal Gear Solid 4, Demons Souls, Uncharted Trilogy, Killzone Trilogy, Resistance Trilogy, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 and 2, Yakuza series, The Last of Us.

PLUS HD Collections ( I could play all the greatest PS 2 games as ICO/SOTC, MGS Trilogy, God of War Entire Collection, Final Fantasy X/X-2, Devil May Cry Trilogy, Kingdom Hearts series ETC ) on PS 3.

PLUS PSN Store for PSONE classics as RE Directors Cut , Final Fantasy VII.

Followed by PS 2 then PSP. Never owned PSone, PS 4 or VITA.

PS2 > PS Vita > PS1 > PSP > PS3 > PS4

PS4 since most of the games I enjoyed playing on the PS3 are also available on the PS4 + new games.

There is no comparison. Most of the great franchises started on PS1 & PS2. There's a reason why most of those games were/are remastered for PS3 & PS4.

Wow, I expected no one shares my opinion. Well, between Vita, Ps1 and PSP it depends on wheter or not the emulated games count. If so, PSP>PS1 because it plays PS1 games. If emulated games do not count, I would change the Vita with the Ps1

hum I guess for me it would be the PSOne then PS2, then PSVita and then PS3 only to finish with the PS4.

PSone was something, so many new IP during that time, so many good memories. PS2 had fewer WOW game to me compared to the GC. PS3 while good, only 3 games I can remember compared to the 360 and for PS4 well, so far was fun but the only memorable is Bloodborne.

On the Vita it was cool but the only game I enjoyed are P4G and Soul Sacrifice ... I played KillZone Mercenaries, LBP, Tearaway ...

PS3 fat is honestly the greatest console of all time despite it's one flaw with the slow install times.

PS1 > PS4 >>>>>> PS2 > PS3, but i can see PS4 jumping to the first place in a year or two.

PS2 is first and PS1 is second. Anyone who votes differently is either youngster who missed these gems in their prime or they didn't own them all together. The PS2 was a gem. Great hardware and an amazing library.

1 & 2 were awesome, 3 was decent, 4 is junk.

PS2 is my favorite console ever, and will probably never be topped at this point. PS3 was great once there were a decent amount of games out for it. PS1 has a huge number of classic games. And PS4... still only have two games for it, still waiting for that greatness.

So PS2 > PS3 > PS1 > PS4

I've always used Playstation consoles for exclusives only since I prefer to buy multiplats on other consoles therefore my favorite Playstation console was the PS1 since it provided many exclusives that I enjoyed and could not get on my other consoles. Plus, the types of exclusives that the PS1 had was very different than the types of exclusives that the other consoles of that generation offered which helped give it a unique identity.

Overall, I would rank them: PS1 > PS3 > PS2. I think it is too early to rank the PS4, but if I did, it would currently be last.

The PS3 had a better library than 2's, so PS3.

PS2>PS3>PSP>PS Vita>PS1>PS4.

It's between PS2 and PS3 for me, but I'd give it to PS2. To be fair I only played a few games on PS1, never owned one.

PS2, PS1, and PSP last console Sony had with unique lineup of good exclusive

PS3 hardly worth turning on with PC and Xbox nearby, and PS4 a joke so far.

Out of the two I have owned (PSX and PS3). The original Playstation is easily the best.

PS3 phat has a lot going for it. But in due time, PS4 will almost certainly supplant it.

Favorite library is probably PS1.

I only ever owned PSP, PS3 and Vita (plan to own a PS4) so I'm not right to judge.

But I'm glad PS3 got so many HD collections. I was sad to have missed out on Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper and God of War among others. PS2 was a hell of a console. My friends were raving so much about the likes of SOCOM and GTA (came first on PS2)

PS3. Was at an age where games were more fun when the psx was out, but the ps3 is objectively the best PlayStation console. Best library of games--great ps3 games, plays the psx library, tons ps2 games on psn(or full library with the right model), best controller options--many choices from standard pads to fight sticks to racing wheels, and also countless arcade games on psn. In addition to that the console gets a crisp image from HDMI but also has the ability to display analog out through component for said older games. Then there's all the media options. How anybody else says a different PlayStation I will not understand.
