ps2 or wii?

well yesterday my friend broke my ps2 when he DROPPED IT DOWN FROM FRIKNG UPSTAIRS AHHGH anywys i think i still need a ps2 (my ps3 isnt backwards compatible) and it still is the console of the decade. should i get it over a wii?

The PS2s library is better and bigger, get one.

You can get a PS2 for about one fifth the price of a Wii. Maybe it shouldve been 5 PS2's or a Wii. :p

You do know that Gamecube>PS2 in terms of power, right? Well the Wii can actually play Gamecube games, and do much more, so that is false.

He's not much of a friend then. You could probably buy a PS2 for less than $50 nowadays. It's really sad if he values $50 over your friendship...especially seeing as it's completely his fault that the PS2 broke.

I'm a Wii fan and I'd still go for the PS2.

Actually you could buy a wii for 200 and buy a used ps2 off ebay for 50, since you'll probably be done with your ps2 a lot sooner since you by now probably beat most of the good games on it and its basically the end of its cycle. Then you'll also have a wii to use that'll have more new games coming and some of the old ones, also you could buy some of the good gamecube games and play it on it too. In the end the two would be the cost of a wii a year ago :P
