I honestly can't tell if you're joking or not.

me neither.
but sony has always done this. First it was the Analog stick, stolen from nintendo. Then it was rumble, also from nintendo. Now it's wireless, has sensitive buttons and a guide button. all of which where already on another controller. then they took another page from nintendo and made it motion sensing.
remember: good artists borrow, Great artists steal.

About the motion sensing... I'll let Pheonix Wright tell you.

Stealing wireless, and a home button? You've got to be joking.
All the controllers this gen are wireless standard [well, not so much the 360] so I've no idea where you got that idea, and as someone pointed out the PSP had a home button AND the original PS3 controller concept had a similar button in the center.

take a look at this
check this out the way it opens up the controllers, exactly the sameTskull
Your boycotting Ps3 because of that :?
That's like saying Microsoft copied the 4 shoulder button interface from the PS2. And that Nintendo copied using DVD's from the PS2.Kinitari
Microsoft copied the 4 shoulder buttons. The whole DVD argument is void since discs were first used by Sega. The type of disc doesn't matter.
[QUOTE="da1on2"]Lol Ps3 came before Wii0starter0
Wait the PS3's controller with the lights and motion sensing came before the Wiimote? No. Nintendo announces the Wiimote and Sony "changes" the design to incorporate those features. Remember the banana controller? No?
Dude, my router has 4 square lights, the same size, indicating which ports are being used. Would it be different if the PS3 port lights were circles? Would it be plausible if the port lights were all in seperate locations all over the controller? No. It's made of logical design.
It just makes sense to do it like that. You don't even need highschool education to figure out that it should be done like that.

You mean NEC. The PC Engine was the first to have disc media technology.

You mean the Conceptual Design?1. LEDare innovative, your not very wise.
2. The sixaxis was an old patent used as a replacement for the loss of rumble

... I don't see the logic behind that. As each type of disc has dramatic differences from it's predecessors. DVD is now a standard - something people argue that the PS2 helped encourage near the beginning of it's life span - now the Wii has them, and the Msoft consoles as well. Now if something like ANALOG was a standard, and Sony used it in their controller, that's stealing, but DVD usage is not?
The TC fails so horribly with this thread. Even as an lemming i'm kind of embarassed lol. So TC, you think that it is a bad thing that a company like Sony is offering a multitude of what ar enow standard features for controllers to its customers? You would rather have a crap controller with no analog at all? No player slot indicator? No Home button? There is no honor in business, every company copies so they can offer the best they can to their customers which is the most important. Xbox 360's failure rate is incredibly high, PS3's hardware is the best this generation. YOU FAIL.Ben3128947
failure rate LOL!!! look whose talkin wii is outselling everything, and dont forget, wii had its original idea since 2005 i think that u wud be part of the game, see, nintendo has success in their own idea for having fun, ps3 unique idea? charging controller???? dont forget hdmi was for elite, and ps3 took it and dont forget it didnt work at start and needed firmware to make it work
I think somebody got into the anti PS3 propoganda again. Naughty, naughty. OHAND 360STOLETRIGGERSFROMDREAMCAST ANDTHEYSTOLEIT FROMGUNSANDTHEYSTOLEIT FROMAUNTJEMIMAANDSHESTOLEIT FROMALROKER! This is pathetic..._Captain_Ahab_
