Please tell me how Alan Wake and Splinter Cell will define the platform as Mario, Zelda and Metroid do. They don't, because they are multiplatform.[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"][QUOTE="Senor_Kami"] His argument only holds up if you pretend that great games coming to the 360 aren't actually coming to the 360.Menalque2
Alan Wake is a Microsoft published franchise, how can it be any less connected with the Xbox 360 platform than, say, the original Panzer Dragoon is with the Saturn? Didn't that receive a PC version? Come to think of it, wasn't Sonic & Knuckles ported to the PC? I suppose we'll have to also agree that the original Mario Bros. shouldn't be associated with the NES because it was ported to the home computers. I know it hurts to hear it, but your oh so hallowed and superior PC was not mentioned in this thread. I thought we were discussing the big three games for each home console.
Except, those games were LATER ported. SCC and AW are coming out for the PC and 360 at the same time. They do not define the Xbox 360 platform. They were never exclusive.
