this month of sales is very much like in an nba game where the minnessota timberwolves go on a lil' 5-0 run agaist the LA lakers while all of the scrubs are playing at the end of the 3rd quarter to make the score 60-85 for the lakers, instead of 55-85

it's a nice little run for the PS3

it's doubtful that it will last long enough to make the PS3 pull ahead in the long run

See what happened once all 3 consoles are about equal in price. The best console starts outselling the other 2.

Sorry, but the 360 has more critically acclaimed games than PS3. Nice try though.

People tried to downplay the PS3 because it didn't have good sales even tho it always had good games and now has great games. The failure in your argument is that PS3 not having good sales didn't stop it from having good/great/amazing titles and now it seems PS3 is also getting better sales.playharderfool

Seriously...for the past 3 years PS3 fanboys constantly said how little sales matter and that they don't care. Now all of the sudden sales are the most important thing in the world.

PS3 outsold the Wii and 360 in an outragous landslide last week. Will it continue?

If you think PS3 will keep selling like this after christmas you are dreaming but I can tell PS3 will keep selling head to head to 360 and Wii from now on.

The PS3 really had a spike in Japan. FFXIII being a PS3 exclusive there effected it a lot more than I thought. That combined with a price drop was a big deal. It might continue for a little while just because of what's going down on 12.17.09. Of course it won't be the same huge jump as we just had, it was a frickin' hardware launch :/

Sony fanboys..accept the fact the PS3 will never and I repeat never catch the Wii. Well unless all the new Wii's start bursting into flames and Nintendo never sells another Wii. Then it has a chance. Sorry it's just the truth you must learn to face it.

sonys been on the mountaintop twice it may not beat the wii but it's been on top while xbox has always been in second place.
