ps3 does not have superior hardware. i will use logic.

most multiplats look better on 360 than ps3. there are 2 games that look fantastic on ps3. if ps3 had truly better hardware then all games should look better on ps3. therefore a logical person cannot come to the conclusion that ps3 has better hardware (graphically speaking). we know that PC has better hadware than consoles because multiplats and exclusives look better on pc. xbox was proven to be more powerful than ps2 because both multiplats and exclusives looked better on xbox. I have used logic to present an argument on system wars. i hope that the matter is settled.

Oh really well let me ask you this, how many other consoles do you know of that are so powerful there being bought up and used in unison by the hospitals and military for countless numbers of different duties and computer operations ? Now you might say , " well thats not gaming ", ok, but it does mean that it is the most powerful console on the market or neither parties mentioned would bother with it.

I am hyped for Alan Wake, aside from GOW3 it is my most anticipated game this year. No goggles on here, but nice try.

We will have to wait until it is released before we can start making graphics claims. Metro 2033 was hyped for it's graphics on the 360 too and look how that turned out.

Yep, a few come close and according to some previews, Alan Wake already looks at it´s level. The diference is that no console game comes close to Crysis on a high end PC

Again, let's wait until we get our hands on Alan Wake first before judging. It will be a great looking game but in my opinion the best it can do is maybe match U2. Surpassing it is a whole other story.

I'm not going to go picking through your entire post and demonstrating exactly what the problems with it are. But....

Hardware power is proven through the actual stats of the components, and benchmarking. Not through individual developer attempts on using the hardware.

It took a team of 200 people to make GTA 4 on PS3. It took 5 people to do the same on 360. Do more with less only on Xbox 360.

when you say benchmarking, what type of measurements are you using? frames per second? resolution? in that case many games perform better on 360. regarding your second point, may ps3 fanboys use "individual developer attempts on using the hardware" to prove that ps3 is more powerful. they say that "naughty dog is unlocking the true potential of ps3". but as you said, true comparisons come from benchmarks.

Using logic, it would seem that you weigh every's developer's talent as the same. Reality is not so nice. Your logic has been refuked...

You could make the argument that because ease of development on the Xbox 360 adds to the superior argument.

Err....caculations per second, fill rates. Stuff like that. Not that there's benchmarking programs like 3DMark for consoles though unfortunately. I'd LOVE for Futuremark to makea console version so we can end these silly hardware debates. 8) Until then however, we have to compare the base specifications of the console's CPUs, GPUs, etc. instead. It's alot of technical stuff. None of which you even bother mentioning.

You certainly don't 'prove' which hardware is superior by comparing games between the two consoles. It's a unprecise process at best.
