What are you trying to say? That all Japanese people look alike?

No. But seeing as I've played many PS2 games created by japanese developers, none of them looked as Asian as the guy I saw in Lost Planet.

That's because many games try to be like anime's, and many anime's try to be like movies, and since America has all the big hit movies many game and anime characters are white.

I see, this is the guy. He does look Japanese to me, though.

Then again I am no expert at differentiating the subtle differences, especially in a video game.

Also Western games are advertised like crap there, but when advertised good they sell, look at GTA's sales in Japan for proof. Anyway the same can be said for America, how come the arcades are dead and tactical RPG's aren't popular here?

Which unless they bought Square they will naver have the full support. The other problem is that has PS3 and Wii keep surpasing the 360 in numbers in Japan now that the 360 is not the only next gen system it will be harder to get Japanesse companies to make games for the 360.

Take the biggest game of the hated genre and advertise it with a 100 million dollars. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_fantasy_vii#Development Hey it worked didn't it? So basically Micrsoft should do this Halo 3= Final Fantasy VII So when other FPS come the Japanese will be excited, similar to how Westerners were about Chrono Cross and The Legend of the Dragoons

Maybe. If MS maintains the lead globally, Japanese developers will bring games to the 360. The Japanese market is not large enough for SquareEnix. They must think globally if they enjoy eating.
