PS3 excitement keeps building....

PS3 owners wait for good games, and thats not a problem. If you don't wait you get the glitch feast that is Gears. I made a thread yesterday about my experience with gears for the past 5 days. So as far as I'm concerned, I've taken Gears down from a AAA to a AA game to be more precise from a 9.6 here to my 8.0-8.5. So now tell me the 360's other good games? And I'll tell you R&C:tod, Drakes fortune, Mgs4, MLB "The Show", heck even Hots Golf is a great game which didn't get any love from GS lol and actually for what you get with GTp5 its a good game, just shallow but it is a prolouge.

Also Mod, the ps3 has to have a 10 rating game to have a good game? Is that what you said?

The thing that differentiates Alan Wake from stuff like KZ2 and GT5 is that we don't keep being shown new screens of Alan Wake every other week to remind us that its been delayed again.

Its as if the developers of KZ2 think that everyone will forget about it if we aren't kept topped up with new pictures... totally unecessary.

No what is silly is that people have tried to say the PS3 has no games for far too long. While I'm not a cow, I havent been waiting for anything.

Look at all the exclusive games comming out. Look at the press reports about KZ2, LBP and now Heavy Rain. I know some of these are a ways off but it sure is great.howell1972

You do realise just how silly this post is right, thats like me saying that MGS4 should be a 7.5 because i personally didnt enjoy the extended cutscene time and brief and not fantastic gamplay.

Doest that make any difference to its score on GS?, does it effect anyone else's opinion on the game, hell no to both.

Cows like their expectiations to be high, since they like the free fall that follows. Delaystation 3 has some games on the horizon, but 360 has some also. Cows keep promoting the same 3 games, lems keep promoting the same 3 games, and in the end, 360 gets the games to the market, while ps3 owners wait.

yet those 3 games and more are CONFIRMED to come out this year, while there is much much more that is sure to come.

anyway, its really up to the developers who make the games, since they have delayed many of them because of the fact that they were not used to working on the ps3, but times are changing, more quality games will be coming out on time starting this fall

As an owner of both a 360 and a PS3, it gets hard when actually saying it was worth it buying a PS3 right now. It's probably becauseI haven't played any games yet that are must-buys(Excluding MGS4) in my opinion. MGS4, Uncharted, and LBP are probably the only PS3 games I'll be getting this year. I'll be getting the multiplats on my 360(With Gears 2). I might buy half the exclusives on my PS3 and the other half on the 360. :?

Oh well, at least it's a blu ray player. :?

Killzone 2, MAG, Resistance 2, what more could you want?

I want them all, nothing is better than generic shooters, the ps3 is a great buy!

oh that is so true, because resistance 2 is becoming so generic with the bigest boss ever in a game, and battles of huge scale, while killzone 2 just keeps getting better and better the more we hear from it, and while mag has 256 players which is unheard of for any console mmofps(on pc too maybe?). and on top of AAAAAAALLL that, there is also lbp, wks, motorstorm 2, disgaea 3, valkyria chronicles, tekken 6, god of war 3, inFAMOUS, eyepet, Flower, gt5, heavy rain, and much muuch more...yes, the ps3 IS a great buy! nice of you to notice

Besides someone telling me to grow up, tell me how you dismiss all of the bugs and frame rate issues and hidden walls and just how rushed and upolished gears was, besides the score it got here. For todays standards they better do a whole lot for gears 2, cause I don't think what slid by last time will do so this time.

I could list all the glitches I came across while playing gears before I just ejected the game and turned off the system. But if you played gears then you know what I'm talking about. Just unpolished and rushed is all I'll say, no matter what someone tries to tell me the score was.
