Hmm, let's see. Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, the Mass Effect series, not to mention that ports are usually better on the 360 and commonly have added content (enjoy the inferior version of GTA4 and no online Virtua fighter 5. Also, the Forza series leaves no need for GT. Hey, at least you got a cheap Blu Ray player.

When did any Ninja Gaiden franchise win game of the year by any review publisher for any platform? It recieved many runner up nominations but no enchilada.

God of War 1 and 2 has won Game of the Year from different reviewers for the PS2 platform and GOW 1 won overall game of the year by several publishers.

Orginal Fable got an 8.6, around that time FFX got a 9.3, GT4 got an 8.9, and GoW got a 9.3.

So...increased difficulty = harder? I've always found GoW more fun, never finished a NG game.
FFX13- Hasn't changed in 56 years

GT5: Prologue had better handling, and with damage...think about it.

I totally agree with you on the GOW3, NG disagreement. I cant even get into a NG game because its kinda boring not being able to beat a level!!! I try to play the game on easy and i stil lcant beat it!! GOW i actually stand a chance of beating it. So yeah GOW all the way!!

forza IS actually the better simulator. better physics, more realistic behaving AI, realistic RESULTS. as i belive there was this thread where the no1 ghost got the best time by exploit-barrier-crashing. IMAO GT5 realsim failed

There is your problem, you suck at video games! I beat NG on normal a few times over, so GeOW is like total button mashing garbage compared to the skill and difficulty of NG. However GeOW does have ab etter storyline, but in terms of gameplay, ... not even close to NG. NG ALL THE WAY!!!

I played god of war, and honestly don't see why everyone considers it the definitive action game just for the story. it's inferior gameplay , awful music, uniteresting characters, terrible VA, and only decent graphics completely fail in comparison to Ninja gaiden. I find Ninja gaiden gameplay much more entertaining anf fun than GOWS.

Ok. God of War has more epic battles and more crazy combat areas. The enviroments are great and give a huge feeling to the game. God of War had a really good pace. It had lots of action then some exploration areas and puzzles to solve. Ninja Gaiden to me, feels like it's stretching the gameplay from one area to the other. Also in Ninja Gaiden there is lots of back tracking, which is fine, but it gets annoying after a while to have to go back to a place you already came from multiple times. The fighting in Ninja Gaiden is good. I played and passed both of the games, and I'm probably going to get Ninja Gaiden 2.

God of War is better than Ninja Gaiden for me because God of War is CONSTANT action.

God of War has a better art style and the gameplay is amazing.

Gran Turismo 5 is better than Forza 2 beacuse the driving physics are like driving a real car.

Before GT3, I hated racing games. When I first got my PS2, it came with Gran Turismo 3 so I tried it.

I was blown away.

Gran Turismo is the only racing game I like now.

I can't believe how much time in system wars is spent debating games that haven't even come out yet.

I'm still waiting for this vaunted 2008 PS3 lineup but the year is almost 1/3 of the way through and the best exclusive thus far is a demo (GT5 prologue). Thats not to say the 360 has had any this year either. They haven't had any new exclusives to write home about either.

So now your left speculating about games to come. Lets wait until they come out before we start talking about which are better. I own both systems and I see no reason to believe the PS3 lineup is guaranteed to be better than 360.

That's pretty much what I thought. Going by word of mouth what people have been enjoying these days the PS3 hasn't been owning anything in exclusives in 2008.

Lost Oddesey is out. Not amazing but its something.

GoW was a rental for me, good game, nothing in terms of replay value.

I bought whatever FF that came with PS2 HDD, never played. I bought the HDD for Socom maps that NEVER came out.

GT series is fantastic but wheres the full version of GT5? Failstation has been out how long with no Socom, GT?

I wonder if my force feedback wheel that I bought for GT4 will work on PS3.

Fable was the ONLY game I played on Xbox and absolutly loved it.

I could care less about game review scores. I play for my enjoyment not because gamerater.com tells me its good.

Well correction here If we are in fact taking generally. Im seeing "sony" and "MS" instead of ps3 and 360. If we want to talk company wise, Sony actually "crushed" Microsoft in 2007 and 2008. the 360 has only beat the ps2 two months out of the 24. The ps2 is still the best selling system, 2nd only to the wii. And thus far the ps2 has sold over 115 million units making it one of the best selling systems of all time. So while i agree the 360 has better games than the ps3 right now, sony as a whole is tearing microsoft apart. Anybody who checks and knows the facts can't disagree with me. The war between the systems is far from over... there is no reason to focus on the ps3 yet with the ps2 selling so well. Sony knows this, and from a business stand point its smart to keep something so successful around.x0dking0x
