That's great! Except it doesn't change anything I said at the start of this topic.[QUOTE="Malta_1980"]That's great! Wait did he just stoop so low as to resort to whipping out the sony copyed this crap. Well my friend two can play at this game, Hell im just gonna put a major one down. Didnt the origional xbox copy cd based games from sony who was the first to use cds in a console.potato66
...sega cd was out LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGG before ps was even concieved. damn you youngins these days. also if im not mistaken dreamcast was also on the market before ps1.
as for the TC stfu. you have no idea what you're ranting about. my guess is his 360 just RROD and the batteries in his controller developed a memory. well ill educate you a little bit. sony controller use Lithium-ion batteries. they have a substantially longer life then those crappy duracels in your 360 controller. i have 2 sixaxis and 1 dualshock all 3 work prefectly and my controller from LAUNCH still lasts around 8 hours or MORE off 1 charge.
and you want to talk about sony copying things???how about that rip off of a dreamcast controller that M$ uses? or the NXE, it should be called the NXMB as its a blatant rip off of sonys xross media bar.
and online???lol a lemming complaining that PSN is laggy....PROOF THAT YOU HAVE NEVER TOUCHED A PS3. yeah some games are slightly laggy. i mean VERY slighty framerate hiccups. everyone on these boards KNOWS that PSN is a much more stable online service then XBL. seriously i cant believe you even tried to use this. sure XBL has a couple extra features but when it comes to what matter PSN outperforms XBL ANY DAY.
and you actusally tried to play the sales card too???if im not mistaken the 360 was 10 million ahead of the ps3 with its year head start and now its only 5-6 million ahead. seems like the ps3 is gaining ground to me. and that with the 360 having a $200 sku. pathetic if you ask me.
the ONLY argument you have that holds weight is the low attach rates on the ps3. and for a post that long, thats kinda sad.
also its realy hard to take someone serious when they put "teh" instead of "the" on purpose in what was seemingly supposed to be a well thought out thread. so like i said before. stfu.

1. the turbo graphx 16 actually was the first with CD based games. 2. Li-ion batteries while improved are still prone to losing the ability to charge(which isn't due to memory like NiCd's were where you could induce the lost charge effect) 3. I wouldn't brag about 8 hours of charge, the 360 controllers get over 20 per charge(which has rumble, unlike your controller from launch). 4. All controllers trace their lineage back to the 8-bit generation, so don't bother saying one copied more than the other. 5. Do me a favor and compare the XMB and NXE to the Windows Media Center edition UI that came out in the middle of last gen and still say MS ripped off the XMB. The NXE is almost exactly like WinMCE UI that debuted in 2002. You're pointing the finger the wrong way on that one buddy. 6. Your online experience is determined by the game host on both XBL and PSN with the exception of a couple titles. To say one is inherently more laggy than the other is fanboyish. 7. There was NEVER a point in time where the 360 was 10 million ahead, even the most friendly 360 launch year numbers put it at 8 million sold with most figuring on about 7 million. Cows like to overinflate the 360's largest lead so they can pretend it has mounted some huge comeback even though it is currently down about 6 with a good chance of it being 7 million after the holidays. 8. While he was a little off on some of his points, most of the rebuttals(including yours) have been even farther off.[QUOTE="enygma500"][QUOTE="potato66"]Wait did he just stoop so low as to resort to whipping out the sony copyed this crap. Also, to the other dude, i didn't say PSN was laggy, i said wireless is laggier than LAN. Perhaps reading would be in your best interest before posting useless factless information when you didn't read the original topic in teh first place. I think they teach that in.. oh grade 1 was it?
-Online is just inferior to Xbox Live. It lacks cross game chat/friend invites, and the matchmaking is inferior. The lag on PSN is also much higher than Live, but this is really more dependant on the users internet connection. The lag is mostly caused by the wireless feature, wireless can not compete with the stability and response times of an ethernet connection.

so ur saying you pay all that money for cross game chat and better matchmaking? you owned yourself on the lag portion. i play with my ps3 with ethernet and never lag. ever

That/s because you're using ethernet, not wireless, which is what increases the lag. read perhaps? Please Log In to post.
