PS3 Fanboy drifting to the 360 more thx to graphics

I own both and the PS3 has had better graphics since about 2010 and hasnt looked back. This is coming from someone who owns and plays both.

Uncharted 3 is my favorite game to look at. Just seems when I play certain multiplayer That the PS3 isn't smooth in frames. Playing LA Noir on PS3 dl version and it's not silky smooth. PSN HOGWARTS XBL McPa1n Wii haaa no onlinecaseypayne69

When you have a choice, get the game on disk.

PS3 is built to texture stream off the disk, when you DL a game off PSN it can't do that.

Your framerate drop are from the HDD thrashing.

360 has similar problems I assure you.

Some games miss textures or audio cuts out when you install the game to disk, but not when you play off the DVD.

No doubt about it. It's funny because I have proven my statements right millions of times on here, I am always ready to back up my claims with facts and evidence. But whenever I do the Lemmings and 360 only owners run away from it and try to not admit it. Well it's the truth guys, don't get mad at me over it.

It just comes down to them listining to their emotions and not to the evidence or logic. Same way it is with every issue. You can prove them wrong a million times like I did, but they'll never accept it because it upsets them on an emotional level. It's not my problem if you have an emotional attachment to your game console :lol:

I only prefer my X360 over my PS3 because of the controller. If I could find a decent (without deadzone) 360 layout controller for PS3, my preference would definitely change.

Microsoft just showed in this E3 with their Kinect crap that they really don't get it.

If I were a Lem I'd be keeping my damn head down after that abortion of an E3 Conference, Halo 4 was literally the only gaming product of note, beyond that was pure wilderness.

I think after seeing God of War ascension and the last of us they just drifted back.

Blue-Ray has a higher read speed than DVD, and a much lower seek speed.

You install part of the game, the rest is on the disk where it gets streamed.

The PS3 was built to do exactly that in every game.

So when you DL, the whole game is on HDD, it doesn't use its streaming capabilities and the HDD slows you down.

Normally it's supposed to use the HDD and BD at the same time.

360 uses a similar method but doesn't require an install.

The tradeoff is having to get up in the middle of the game to change disks sometimes.

Lean towards PS3 because it has the best exclusives like MGS4 :)

I still think Sony has a better diversity of exclusives. My future purchase list is Last of Us The Last Guardian (Where the heck was it at E3?) Gears 4 Halo 4 Forza Horizon Wii U MW BO2 probably 360 RE6 360 Alan Wake Castlevania 2

Ok I own all three consoles this gen. Needed to get that out of the way first.

After watching Microsofts E3. I gotta say they are finding ways to squeeze whats left of graphics out of that thing. I firmly believe Sony's 1st dev's have more talent but the 360 is a monster in my eyes compared to the PS3. I'm slowlying making all my purchases 360 purchases instead of PS3. Hell my 120 Gb PS3 is maxed and I have 200 Gbs left on my 360.

Anyone else think like this?

I always knew PS3 would be laft in the dust visually, since it used an ancient GPU comparing to 360 one and has separare ram than unified

In short PS3 hardware was last gen comparing to 360 one, so 360 going far ahead was expected
