i agree with you 100%, especially the "or" part. i got this laptop for 350 on ebay, but if i had a gaming pc, i wouldn't even think about getting a current gen console, imean unless you play videogames for a living, either a pc or a 360 is plenty. having a ps2 or gamecube on the side is understandable. i'm not trying to hate but some people here spend unneccessary money on videogames. i guess i should only speak for myself, but i spend way too much on videogames. i have a 360 and a ds, 8 360 games(+5xbla) and 6 ds games. that is enough to keep me content for a long time. i still haven't fully played most of those games, and i have a lot to still get out of them. i was considering getting a wii, but when i think about it that's an overkill and absolutly obsurd.

I really don't know what else they have going, but if Shadowrun is any indication there will be a lot more on the way. Otherwise, what's the point of integrating Windows Live with XBL?

I think we can agree on one thing: 360 console-exclusives will be making their way to the PC a lot more frequently than PS3-exclusives will.

You have no games (that Xbox 360 owners can't already play) that're better than Bioshock, Gears, Forza 2, and a whole host of other games that've done better across the board.

If you want anyone at all to have any respect left for you by the time you DO get a superb game, it would be advisable to not embarass yourselves by trying to "own" or bash the games that quite clearly show your console up as pathetic and have done since it's launch.

Gears and Bioshock I can play on PC, but yeah I agree RIGHT now we don't have games that are up to that quality yet, But when we do, they will only be on PS3, and they will be more diverse.

360 fans didn't have to wait a whole year to play some great games that make the console worth buying. Seriously what does the ps3 have.. Resistence and Motorstorm? and now they are still waiting for potential AA-A games like Floppingly Sword and Warhawk to save the system? No wonder they keep saying wait til 08'.

You have no games (that Xbox 360 owners can't already play) that're better than Bioshock, Gears, Forza 2, and a whole host of other games that've done better across the board.

Maybe in the future, maybe when LBP comes out or when MGS4 comes out or whatever... But for now, you just don't. Your console lacks superb games.

If you want anyone at all to have any respect left for you by the time you DO get a superb game, it would be advisable to not embarass yourselves by trying to "own" or bash the games that quite clearly show your console up as pathetic and have done since it's launch.

Gears and Bioshock I can play on PC, but yeah I agree RIGHT now we don't have games that are up to that quality yet, But when we do, they will only be on PS3, and they will be more diverse.

I understand lemmings point of view though, they are taking advantage of the fact that PS3 doesn't have it's main games yet, and they are rubbing it in cows faces. That's fine with me. But when PS3 gets it's main games, and PS3 owners have so many games that they don't know whih to play at any given time, what are lemmings going to say then?

Yup, 2008 is hopefully going to be far more of a fight, with Sony finally having to step up to the plate and say "Ok, this is what we got" and (fingers crossed) Microsoft coming out with a few great titles (TGS announcements are rumoured, I hear?).

Lifecycle of 9 months looks like a great excuse huh? Is it another statement similar to:"Rumble is last gen"?

No doctor asked PS3 to be released after 1 yr of XBOX360 or to delay its launch.

So it would have been better for your logic if the PS3 launch would have delayed even further, lets say till august 2007 and you would have proudly said: "life cycle only 1 month".

According to me it is a great disadvantage for your system when you see people playing great games on the competitor system and you having to wait and wait.

Dude I own bioshock and gears and forza 2, and guess what? I bought warhawk, and that game has me forgetting all those games. Its just alot funner then all 3 of those games put together, and yes, warhawk alone wipes the floor with all 3 of those games when it comes to play value, and to top it off the servers are lag free. For lemmings out there who own a ps3 aswell, if u havent bought warhawk, im telling u, if u had fun playing halo 2 online or halo 3 beta, warhawk is a must get game, and is one heck of a game. I think warhawk is going to be 2007 best online multiplayer game. :)

That's quite a claim. I haven't had any time with it yet but I do like a good multiplayer game (I'm still playing Shadowrun, heh) so I'll have to try and play it on a friend's PS3... Regardless, I think most would disagree with you. Many don't see Warhawk as that great and many many more would tell you there's no way Warhawk would make them forget Gears and Bioshock.

Well I guess it's same thing that was with the original Xbox, game library was bad and system was superb. Now it's other way around with the PS3, but it will evetually catch up, assuming sales go up for the system. PS3 only suffers due to its high cost and late start, it wouldn't have been such a case if those two problems could have been avoided. KZ-2 and MGS-4 are coming up to be quiet a competition, for now.
