You Cows are so unbelieveable. Had this been the other way around, you'd be praising Sony for this and talking about how "ZOMG Sony is uber pwning MS at teh Xbox 1.5!"
Actually, Microsoft's little games are quite welcome in my opinion. Not quite on the level of "Genesis does what Nintendon't!", but it's nice to see this rather than some boring PR.

Puh-lease. Look at how the Xbox fans are reacting to this - they love it. I find it absolutely hilarious. For better or worse, this is the new marketing - stepping outside the normal channels, bringing consumers into the experience, and disrupting opposing messages. Call it immature all you want, but it's very effective, and it's not going away. And the non-xbox fans?
I should have known something was up when I didn't hear cows mooing about how the PS3 sold out across Europe. Before, they made it sound like European buyers were the cavalry. Guess not.

If i were Bill Gates i would be extremely upset with the ones that did that because firstly they ruin the companys image(to serious people) AND most importantly they might even make other people think better of Sony or the PS3

how is ms in a bad posiotion?? they have 10 mill sold.sony is in a bad position here with negative sales and news since e305..if anything sony need to be doing stunts like this to get sales not ms. Yeah but why is then ms doing it?:)
Funny stuff. I for one appreciate the creative PR campaigns. Heck, I think it would have been hilarious if the Microsoft boat would have been a pirate ship flying a 360 flag and a band of nerdy pirates attempted to board the PS3 boat.

The PS3 French launch was appearantly = total floppage. The funny thing is Microsoft seemed to enjoy it.

Hehehe. I luv it. It just reminds me of the launch of the original Xbox. An armada and I mean ARMADA of cows were bashing the lemmings w/o mercy. Sony were smashing 360s at the German launch party, that is way lower than anything MS have done (which I found the Beer and the Boat pretty funny)

The audience wasn't the crowd - it was clearly designed to be photographed and blogged about around the world, as a publicity stunt. Why else would it all be in English?
