PS3 gets youtube support

It's supposed to let developers easliy integrate youtube into the games. So players can easily upload Vids right from their PS3

although if you can stick replays on directly from ps3 that'd be way cool

Oh right. So Sony are to lazy to implement a Halo 3 theatre system and just lets Youtube handles it. Good one, then again..this might be an in-game XMB feature, to record segments of gameplay. Which would be really darn awesome.

That's pretty cool. If implemented correctly it could be an interestng aspect in games. Thinking about GTAIV you could acess YouTube from the internet cafe or wtach actual shows in your room. Or in games like Condemmed or CSI it would allow you to do different in game research.

Yea i went 38-0 on COD4 on the wetwork map. That would have been awesome for youtube, then i had a 21 killstreak in which i knived about 15 guys in the same building on crossfire. Those are the moments you want to record. good job sonyBren128

I wouldn't care about taking pointless clips in them really. Clips in Halo 3 are cool, just because so many f**ed up things happen lol Cod4 would be pointless, nothing cool ever happens, just point, shoot, kill or knife.

They could, but it would most likely have a very short life-span. The odds of a virus propagating and flourishing are much greater when it targets the OS 90% of the people use to access e-mails and web pages than the less than 1% that use a PS3.

I would imagine it is easier to do that for a single game instead of having it for an expanding library of games.

Maybe the fanboys should calm down a bit. Unless you can figure out how to make a theater similar to Halo 3's and have it be compatible with atleast every future release coming out.

PS: People do care about watching what people do onscreen, it's why people make montages and post them on YouTube..

You and GhostMLD are the most supercilious posters on the entire site. The PS3 has antivirus software that can be run in conjunction with the web browser. Next complaint? I'm positive it'll be worth reading/responding to.

While this feature could hold some potential, I see alot of tech-lite guys jumping all over this.
This feature will not replace the function of a capture card. This feature will not make it possible to capture ingame video of current games, and will hardly be able to capture ingame videos of upcoming games either.

If your are familier with Halo3's theater system, this feature is only a sharing portal like you can share videos (and screenshots) on the bungie site through Halo3 theater. (The theater part still has to be programmed by the developer).
