i been a sony gamer since ps1 , got like all of em , ps1 , ps2 and i use my lil brothers psp every now and then and love them all.... BUT sorry to say in the fight of next generation consoles i bought the 360, ps3 is a dissapointment,  graphics are better on the 360 (as compared by same games on both consoles) and the 360 has major titles two of which is gears of war (does the game own or what?!) and the upcoming halo 3 !! .... althought i would like to play some majort ps3 titles ( metal gear solid 4 and dmc 4) i have just been dissapointed by the ps3 and will only buy it after that outrageous price tag drops low..(will only buy it then for a few titles otherwise hell no).

Truth is and most of us know it , some by theory and some by actually comparing and ownin one or both the systems , is that the 360 kicks sony bottom!

It's so funny to see all the excuses for PS3's graphics not matching Xbox 360 at launch.  Does anyone remember when the Xbox launched and it had BETTER graphics than the PS2 out of the gate? Sure Halo2 was better than Halo because developers had more time, but it was clear from the beginning that more power = better graphics. The PS3 coming out with LOWER quality graphics in most games is not a good sign no matter how people spin it. Particularly with the PS3 costing $200 more and having less games.  What if the XBox had launched and most of it's games looked worse than the PS2?  I'm not sure many of those pumping the PS3 right now would have had much sympathy for Microsoft. 

I'm personally very letdown by Sony. They pumped this system and then priced it out of reach for casual gamers but delivered a system that only delivers Xbox360 performance, at least for now. My bet is developers will always be better skilled and have better tools available on the 360 platform because they are also leveraged on the PC as well. Perhaps the battle Sony has lost is in taking advantage of the cell processor to prove to gamers the PS3 is better. Doesn't matter if the power is there if Sony just can't get the tools/software expertise to make properly leverage it.

This topic was made at launch... And now, over 4 months later its STILL getting owned so theres really no exuse in "teh launch"
