Yeah, the Wii had a few good games. But I think it is normal to be drawn to the really big, blockbuster AAA games. I liked Punchout myself, and MadWorld was definitely cool.

No, I disagree. Since I am also able to enjoy games that are not AAA rated on Gamespot I would say the PS3 had the strongest year so far while the Wii and the 360 are pretty much on the same level.

The 360 did not have a "great" year. It was very lackluster. I can say this because you're basing your judgment on an overpriced expansion, a simulation racing game that, while great, lacks widespread appeal and probably won't sell nearly as well as it deserves, and another expansion that will "probably" receive a good score from this website.

That's a lot of reaching there. That's all I'm saying. Also, your counts of PS3 and 360 AAAE's are incorrect. You listed four AAAE's for the PS3 and only counted three, and you listed three AAAE's for the 360 and only provided two. This is clearly a biased comparison.

Actually 360 is having a great year. Lots of great multiplats and some awesome exclusives. In other words, 360 has yet to have a bad year ;)

Wii had a better year than the 360, and arguably the PS3 as well. Lack of AAAes aside, it's had like what, 10-14 AA/A exclusives this year?

I the sales end of things this post makes no sense. PS3 just started to sell good a month ago. Before that they weren't selling many at all. The recent games are good and highly rated. But Sony still is not pushing alot of games sales. I guess from a Sony fanboy standpoint this was the best year. But Sony has alot of catching up to do in sale of games and systems. People still buy way more multiplats on the 360. "Amazing" is an overstatement.

CCfor the Gamecube scored AA (8.6 i think). CB looks like a ZOE 1 to 2 sort of improvement (which is the biggest type there can be if you didnt know) and with all previews being posotive, it has a shot at AAA.

So no, you dont know of their quality (and neither do I), so instead of threads like these, why dont we wait untill the years over AND THEN do whatever.

Hmmm if you are basing on how well each system perform by the number of AAA titles it has for the year then I will agree, but since there are actually games other than those that score AAA I will disagree with this point. The PS3 unquestionably in my opinion had an amazing year, with the Wii in a distant second while the XBox 360 is last for console.
