Think about it for a second there, BF3 been reviewed based on the PC and other PC games so they gave it a 9.5 which is great, Uncharted 3 graphics are for the PS3 itself.. why compare the two i dont get it man :? well hey thats why its SW i guess
And I'm not a fan of IGN. That's why I'm on GS, obviously. Not that UC3 is going to be anything else but marvelous, it's odd to make a thread about IGN here.

As others have said the games are compared against the best available at that time, BF3 isn't quite as nice as Crysis so makes no sense to say that BF3 graphics are the same or better when they clearly are not. Uncharted 3 however would seem to be the best looking game or on par with the best looking game available. There is some logic behind the numbers you know.

Best graphics on Ps3, just like how SMG has a 10 in graphics :p Because they are the best graphics for the wii, but these games also have good artistic design as well. Visually, Battlefield 3 looks like the most generic shooter ever.
Glad the most important (along with GS) gaming publication in the world think that the PS3 has 2 AAAAEs (MGS4 & UC3) and hold A LOT more weight than MC/GR could dream of.

IGN is not more important than Metacritic. Metacritic scores actually affects some developers:
"Some publishers tie a game's Metacritic score into the dev team's bonus money, and high-level decisions can be made before a game's release depending on what that company anticipates the Metacritic score to be."

Actually, I highly doubt that. Metacritic is an aggregate, it's where the marketing money really lies because what devs and publishers want is wide-spread acclaim, not singular.
