Final Fantasy XIII is not exclusive, games like ToS and Eternal Sonata are considered exclusive as Japan is only a small part of the WHOLE gaming world, even if you just compare to EU and NA

Enternal Sonata is coming to the PS3. Yes Japan is only 1 part of the gaming world. But it is arguably the most important part as of late. They said Dark Cloud 3 was in development. You don't gotta wait for some guy to announce at a game convention. Its in development nuff said. If we're using that logic we shouldn't even mention Cry On. It doesn't matter how many are out. We all know 360 has more currently. This is directed at people who call 360 jrpg king. DeadSpaceXIII

So far i've only met 3 people who knew this. 360-Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Tales of Vespera, Infinite Undiscovery, Operation Darkness, Zoids Assault, Spectral Force, and Star Ocean 4. 1 game hasnt yet been announced (KH3) and there is still a very good chance it will come to 360. If FFXIII can be ported to 360, then KH3 has a real chance of ending up there.

But I have a friend who has played Disgaea 2 for 450 hours! I plan on playing the crap out of Disgaea 3.

The thing is, both systems suck at RPGs. 360 has 2 AA RPGs that are not on or coming to the PS3. The PS3 has no AA/AAA RPGs that wont be on the 360

DS is better thanl both combined and always will be, it's not even close

360 isn't the king of jrpg, it just has the least sucky library so far(basically ES and LO the rest is average to garbage). Real jrpg fans don't flaunt that.

Cross Edge isn't coming out over here, Cross over games almost never come out, the only one that did make it by was Chaos Wars, and that had characters from games that were not that popular over here. Cross Edge has Capcom characters, and while Atlus and NISA will get along, Capcom may not be as willing, and making the contract would be too much trouble than what it worth. So got to learn Japanese to play that game.

Also Sony doesn't own any rights to FFVII, I got FFVII on the PC and for the trademarks things no where does it has sony name.

BTW you really shouldn't hype Kingdom Hearts 3 as a PS3 exclsuive, People were doing that with Star Ocean 4, and I don't think they will remake FFVII, and I don't think Square-Enix will keep that on one console.(I kinda have mix feeling about that, on one hand I would love to play it, on the other it may ruin FFVII for me)

At E3 they said there were no plans for a PS3 version of Star Ocean 4... which means the only platform it IS being released on is the 360... if thats not exclusive what is?

Even if it does eventually appear on the PS3 it'll be a nice long wait for it to arrive, like Eternal Sonata, by the time the PS3 version appears no one will give a toss anymore.

As for FF13 you seem to be over estimating just how big the Japanese market is, compared to the US its pretty insignificant... so not that much of a deal... and if its getting a simultaneous worldwide release, as also mentioned at E3, why bother importing the Japanese version when the US version will be out at the same time?

So let me get this straight. On the PS3 side, you've brought up a number of games that 1) aren't out yet (FFXIII, Versus XIII) and 2) Haven't been announced (Final Fantasy VII remake, Kingdom Hearts III) to show that the PS3 has a better JRPG selection than the Xbox 360.
