i am not a lemming/fanboy or what have you, i simply wish to point out that these latest efforts at damage control are pathtic...

i have browsed both the xbox 360 and the PS3s game libary, and listed all of the major genres i could assoisiate with the common console. i have listed both of the consoles released consoleexclusives (as we all know the PC is king of variety, so this is between these two), i did not count multiplats because eachwill score evenly there obviouslyand as you will see the results favor the 360.

I don't really think about it in such depth. I just buy what I like, and from the looks of things, the PS3 has a lot of good exclusives coming, just like the 360.SolidSnake35

you missed a few games for both systems.

full auto 2 on ps3, eternal sonata on 360 for example.

One of it's real strengths is multiplats. It gets lots of good games that the PC or PS3 have but they don't both have e.g. Bioshock, Eternal Sonata, C&C3, Ace Combat 6, Soul Calibur 4, World in Conflict, Resident Evil 5 ect. and because of this it probably has more variety than any other single platform. It also has lots of good exclusives but people often overlook this strength.Sir_Graham

I agree. The PS3 and the 360 both have a good range of game. The PS3 is weak in some area's and the 360 is weak in others.

360 has alot of variety. PS isa brand thats never been pigeon holed with one genre or kind of customer. I suppose thats what creates the appearance of variety in one and not the other.

360 also has alot more multiplats then ps3.....having exclusives is a good thing but if you have alot of multiplats then thats good aswell......so if 360 gets both ps3 and pc games while ps3 only gets some of them then that is good for 360's library
