Yeah it really does seem to attract an obscene amount of hate but it's the internet; everything's hated here :P I don't really care at all. I like all of the consoles that are out. I mean, how can you hate a system that plays games?! I love games and all three systems and I don't let other's opinions affect what I play and don't play

I agreed with you until the second half of your sentence. I'd say they're all pretty equal if you look objectively. ps3 offers the most things and is probably the best if you like an all-around system. 360 is more mainstream. Wii is more casual and innovative,yet gimmicky. If you're gonna troll, don't make it obvious.

I think 360 deserves all the hate one can muster.Think about it,it breaks,pay for live,best game is a generic,kiddy,fps,sounds like a train,etc,etc.PS3 onthe other hand is silent,free online ,mature shooter[killzone 2],and dosent break if you lookat it wrong,just so much better,and people are wising up,to the disaster that is 360.Now the wii really shouldnt be bagged on,cause its cheap reliable,and has mario,zelda,metroid,punch out,just all around good games,an innovating controls.I see only two worthy consoles,and my 360 is rotting in my closet due to rrod 2 weeks after warranty expired,what ahot mess,microsoft,wtf???mjfan2000

I've always felt the hate was more or less even towards all 3 systems. Just depends on the flavor of the month I guess. Last gen was about the same. I think it averages out over time.
