Hmm, a new unproven multiplat or a game whose dev definitely knows what they are doing and have a proven formula to pull off a fantastic game. I'll choose the latter.
why compare halo 3 with haze of all things? as much as everyone likes to bash it (myself included) KZ2 would've been a much better comparison...haze just looks so...lackluster

Your absolutely right PS3 has nothing to look forward to, Heavnly Sword Looks like garbage. Ratchet and Clank is just a terrible franchise, and Warhawk is terrible online. Wait no, those 3 are pretty badass games.

Agreed. Haze IMO will get buried by the other quality FPSs coming out this year because honestly it looks like crap. Crysis, Halo 3, UT3, CoD4, Bioshock, etc will own it. Of course KZ2 had to run and hide in 2008, probably because it was afraid of the real competition in 2007.
And of course nothing will touch Halo 3 in sales or popularity. Even Crysis got moved back to November because EA knows who will rule September.

I strongly disagree, I cant see how haze is in any way superior graphically over halo 3. Please explain. It's A Ps3 game so automatically to Cows its a graphical powerhouse. Haze looks interesting but not GOTY interesting.

IMHO, Haze would pwn Halo 3, why? because they made the old Goldeneye and Perfect Dark and Timesplitters, which I played the heck more than that typical shooter Halo.
The more footage I see of Haze, the more it reminds me of Halo. In my case, thats not a good thing because I thought Halo sp was very boring. If this game is just a cheap clone, then I will not be getting it. I may as well get Halo3 then.
As far as exclusivity, there is a chance it could stay PS3 exclusive. Halo3 will be out for 360, and Crysis for PC. I don't think anyone is going to stop playing Halo or Crysis in favor of Haze. Especially on the PC where Haze would be just an average shooter. We'll see how it turns out. Anything can happen at this point.

I lost interest in the game after watching the dev diaries over at gametrailers and HD gameplay vid over PSN.
Not only do I think Haze doesn't look like an AAA game, but I also think that PS3 FPS games won't score AAA unless they offer KB/M compatability. The 6axis just isn't good enough for FPS gaming.
I honestly don't see what the big deal about Haze is, and it does not graphically look better then Halo, they are very different art styles (except for the suit dudes and master chief..)
Haze is probably closer to crysis in art style.. they both have the whole tropical jungle thing going..
