i'm not really good in tech but i was wondering..., how come my HDD remains the same after i installed a game?

my PS3 has about 37/74 gigs left because of pics, vids, musics, and demos, and whenever i install a new game it doesn't change.

can anyone explain?

also my PSP is the same. I only have a 2 gig SD and i've installed a bunch of games in there but the memory still remains the same..

Something's screwed up, your PS3 or the HDD. It should be telling the correct amount of space you have left.

the only time my HDD capacity indicator changes is when i import videos, musics, and pics in it.

i uploaded the entire Tom & Jerry Classic Collection from my external hd into my PS3 which was 12 gigs and it did change, but when i install a game the HDD remains the same.

Hm... that's kinda weird man, try posting this in a PS3 forum. Someone might have had the same problems.
