PS3 is beating 360 in games? dont make me laugh!!

Someone seems to forget that the 360 came a year earlier...SolidGame_basic

As a gamer you look at what each platform offers to you at the time when making a purchase decision. If it doesn't offer me enough to warrant the purchase than I won't buy it. It doesn not matter how long the platform has been out, its not going to be worth it until the platform offers a certain degree of library quality. The PS3 has not reached that degree of quality for me. If the PS3 had a better library right now, no one would be making the "but it came out a year later" excuse.

PS3 released a year after 360. So, to be fair, you'd have to wait one year and see if PS3 gets 10 more 80% or higher exclusive titles to match 360's current state. That seems likely to happen since software for PS3 has ramped up in quality lately.

You know, you could just get a 360, and then you wouldn't need to make stupid excuses. Do you see me saying that the PS3 has nothing to offer me? No. Because it does, I'm not going to lie. It does not however, offer as much as the 360 does. And F.Y.I. those games in the 360 list are not on the PC.

Yeah, the PS3 isn't beating the 360 in the quantity of games. But that does not mean the PS3 doesn't have good games.(Just pointing that out.)

the 360 has soo many games it breaks my wallet (including multiplats) . There is only one PS3 game that interests me and thats MGS4.

the ony reason for that is because the PS3 is too hard to develop therefore crappy movie games are not released on it ( e.g. jumper )

and than theres the bias- Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction scored 7.5 on gamestop but the average critic review was 8.9 and the user review was 8.9. just an example

no.... we all have such an abundance of games that we needed a bit of a rest and come on game spot for a while....

Man I can't wait to pickup Turning Point Fall of Liberty today. Heck all of these great games that the 360 puts out is astounishing, just jump right into that library with eyes closed and come out with a winner everytime. :roll:

Even if the above is true, I'll still have to go with DrR point. As a consumer I don't give a crap about being fair to any of those basterds/companies. Yeah. have fun in those lag filled 256 Multiplayer games, when the PS3 cant even support 16 player games without lag.

omg i was just browsing posts offline. and i just bothered signin in to tell you that u hav no clue on what you are talkin about (like many have already said) have u even heard of resistance fall of man? 40 players no lag, u my dear unfortunate person have failed. sumfin tells me that sony wont hav a game released that has 256 players online at once to have a whole bunch of lag - im not sayin its gonna b 100% lag free like RFOM but its ther gonna do a dam good job of getttin it close, mark my words on that boy.

The point you miss is not whether it's a fact or not, or even whether it's an excuse, but that it's a self-defeating argument. Because regardless, the game gap (and other ancillary benefits) that has resulted from the 360's head start is an argument AGAINST the PS3, not a DEFENSE.
