Actually its the 360 hardware that causes the problems and had been known to scratch the disks. Youre confusing me. Maybe you can clarify what you mean by software issues.

No, I said it had hardware issues. I said mine stopped reading games, that is a hardware issue not a software one. That is the Xbox, as for the 360 it's still a hardware one, the system breaks and their are rumors the elitescratches disks. For the record I picked the xbox over the PS2 after fashion because it's multiplats were better, it was great until it broke on me.

Well I work in a video rental store called "Willow Video" in Langley, BC, Canada, and let me tell you, PS3 is way more durable.

When X360 first came out, my store got one and rented it out, but it got broken after 6 rentals. Then we got a PS3 a year later, and it's still working fine, dispite it's been rented 34 times already.

Now move on to the software. Every once in a while, somebody returned badly scratched X360 games, but for PS3, I haven't even encountered one yet. I checked every copy of Resistence, which is the most rented PS3 game, have not even one scratch (only fingerprints and smudges) on the disc.

So bottom line is, PS3 is more safe and stable than X360.

Sorry, that was a mistake. I fixed it. I should have put hardware issues, I must have been thinking of something else.

above i cited where you lied. now why am I a fakeboy? a fakeboy would be somebody who pretends to be a fanboy in order to make them look bad. but since im being logical and not sounding like an idiot whereas you sort of are id say its the other way around. and im sorry your original xbox broke man but thats not the way it worked for everyone else. you were unlucky and it was the PS2 with the high failure rate last gen not the xbox.

Mine worked great, and everybody who I know that owned one said it worked great. It was perfect as the graphics sucked and the screen was grainy....Which is why I got an xbox.

I keep hearing that, can you blame me for not wanting a 360 if my other broke and the current one has nothing but proven issues? Maybe later as I would like to give Halo 3 a go.
