PS3 is now pretty much home for JRPG's!

I still remember how ps3 used to have not so many JRPG's before and how a lot of people used to say 360 got all the JRPG's but it all chanegd now as the system now got tons of them from multiplats to exclusives which are already out and tons more coming especially next year!.. again this is only JRPG's not WRPG's.

Yeah, there haven't been any really good JRPG's.

I've enjoyed a lot, but it's not a patch on last gens.

You should wait till: Ar Tonelico 3, Tales Of Vesperia & Trinity Universe are actually confirmed for a U.S. release. Find pictures of Eternal Sonata and Disgaea 3.Flamestos

AR3 and Trinity Universe will for sure be coming in english.. well at least thats what NISA said as to wait for them till their done with the projects their working on now and should expect those next so pretty sure they will.. ToV? hope it will, there been rumores going on that it will be annouced soon

NDS is a diffrent thing :P... you cant really compare it to consoles.. i know DS got millions.. it will only be compared to other handhelds but anyways.. Cross Edge wasnt that bad :P.. i have yet to finish it tho

A lot of those games are good but jeez, where is the variety in themes, the freshness, the shear amount of games? Like I said, meh, not bad but meh.

Yeah FF7 been on top for so long now ever since it was released on E3 up till now its always on top even with many ps1 games getting released every week.. just shows how many people love this game and how many JRPG gamers out there and i just hope that now Square Enix will start raining games on ps3 and hope for more ps1 games from them

Yup, Despite a huge library of JRPG's on DS nothing really got me intrested, only one game was amazing was The World Ends with You and thats about it, even KH was bad but oh well i havent touched my DS for over 3 months now

Most Square Enix ones are ports but most are not because Square Enix does not have a majority of RPGs out on the DS. A spin off doing bad is going to kill the series, are you serious?

Yeah FF7 is an amzing game indeed but it had its time, its been on top on PSN since it was released on E3, it sure is one famous game

As far as upcoming and already released JRPGs go, I guess you could consider a PS3 a home to JRPGs simply for how many, but when quality comes into play things change. Same goes for the 360, and the Wii as well.
