PS3 is the only one that can do 1080p natively. GT5 will be 1080p @ 60 FPS. which will blow away PGR4s measly 720p @ 30 FPS. AND GT5 looks graphically better anyways. PGR4 = PWNED

Don't you mean that it now does since MS copied Sony and made an Elite with HDMI and are adding HDMI to all 360's since they see that Sony was right all along by making the PS3 with it. Wow! Sony makes really good systems.

No, I am 100% right. 480p is not and never has been HD. The HDTV standards are currently defined by the International Telecommunication Union and encompassed by the ATSC are 720p, 1080i, and 1080p. 480p is considered EDTV (enhanced definition).

Thank you for educating the masses. 480p is not now nor will it ever be a HDTV standard.

You don't need HDMI for hi def...component works just fine.

whats ur point ? dvd is just a storage medium it doesnt have any affect on quality. HDDVD and BLUE RAY are simply bigger dvds and use different layers. infact through video compression u could fit 70p-1080p movies on a standard dvd.

That's incorrect. The 360 can do native 1080p. The games just have to be made that way in the first place, and so far I don't think any of them have.
