whats with all this win pc fan boys? linux is way better then windon'ts . its faster way safer gets way more updates and its free. sony taking it out of ps3 is bait and switch .linux is one reason why i liked ps3.

It's not bait and switch.
1. Other OS still exists, you just have to update if you want PSN. Legal according to the Terms of Service when you signed up for PSN.
2. They don't advertise Other OS anymore, as it doesn't exist on new PS3s.
I don't see why people think they magically and unlawfully took away Other OS. They didn't. They just took away your PSN privileges for still having it.
And its not like the Xbox is innocent *cough* HD-DVD *cough*

Xbox 360 still supports HD DVD just fine. For the third time, why not mention all the things Sony has added to the Ps3? Hurts the argument. You know it's not fun that way.
It's funny, when the PS3 was $600 it was "get rid of all those stupid features us gamers don't need and make it cheaper!" Now that it's $300 with less stupid features, it's "where did my stupid features go?!?" Can't please anyone. My PS3 still has b/c, I didn't lose anything.
since ps has an otstanding game library better than 360 pc and ps3 combined i find this as a loss. but linux i dont care about it. also u can still find early ps3 on sale that are BC
Again, why don't people (if you're actually serious) look at all the features they have added to Ps3. It far outweighs what they have "taken" away. I was only poking fun of Sony's new motto.
And yet it gets the latest movie releases on BluRay and HDDVD does not.
Besides when the PS3 was higher priced people complained of useless features and wanted a price drop. Sony drops the price and removes those so called useless features and now fanboys claim to want them back? Lol

Bad article. That said, it's true that the PS3 has lost features over time (it has also gained many features through firmware updates). Most of them no one really cares/cared about besides backwards compatability.

and rumble. they removed rumble as they said that it was not next gen. The PS3 gain rumble.... it didn't have it at launch, so it gained it later down the line. Linux support was there from launch and it was removed as in lost...... it's not that difficult to understand.

A level 39 talking like a level 1 is pretty awkward, but anyways I have been getting better and better things every month from the PS3 experience unlike my 360 that's collecting dust. I'm getting 3D, great exclusives damn near every month, free home content and the ability to participate in home, still free online, MLBtv, and sooooo much more. So what planet are you from?
