PS3, more SDTV unfriendly each day.

After the last UI update the PSN store is very hard to navigate on my SDTV. Text is really small now.

Well, I was hearing a lot of good stuff about The Last Guy game, it sounds like the kind of strategy games I love. But I only could play the demo for like 2 minutes, very hard to figure out what was happening... Another PSN game that its nearly unplayable on my SDTV... Sony, you don't even include HD cables with your console!

Sorry, this is really pissing me off. BTW, i was underwhelmed by the SCIV demo.

I like how you throw in the fact that Sony doesn't throw HD cables in at the end of your little shpeel.... But why would you care about HD cables if you're gaming on an SDTV? Just another thing to bash Sony about?Ibacai

I havent noticed it being SDTV unfreindly lately.... but I'll check it out next time I'm on.

But... my CRT... we've been through so much! And I cant afford and HDTV yet... or well, I probably could, but I dont want to!!!

I'll just buy a magnifying glass to cover my entire SDTV screen. lol. High Definition for the po' folk. lol jk.

I got a HDTV for my games and Blu ray movies(if I get any). I still watch normal tv,but im not concerned about how that 70 show looks.

If they included HD cables would you buy a HD tv?

You can get an HDMI cable for $5 with the same quality as a $100 cord. Consumers are just too dunce to realize it. $5 is less than an hour worth of work. -.-

Sorry, but I have an SDTV of 21" and it looks great. The text at the PSN is small, but not unreadable, I can easily read it with no assistance of glasses from 2 meters away (dont know the feet conversion but I think its something like 3 to 1). The Last Guy is really good looking, and unless you have a really old 14" screen, you should be able to see it properly. kenshinhimura16

No, but i have a 24' PC screen with support of 1080p with HDMI and Component inputs. But that's at my studio since i need it for work.

If i did buy a HDTV it would have to be a 19 or 20 inch 720p. And i already have a 24" TV.

Good things no 360 games are hard to read on an SDTV....oh wait, there have been a few.

unfortunately both 360 and PS3 are made for HDTV. I started out playing my 360 on a SDTV and trying to read the text on dead rising was so bad I gave in and got a HDTV shortly after.FragTycoon

UHHH MAYBE like most people he has an HDTV but due to the lack of standard HD cables he cant play it on his HDTV...... ITS UNACCEPTABLE to not have HD cables included in the package

You know, stating that cheap HDTV's are crap, while you're on a SDTV is pretty strange... You're playing on utter crap at the moment, so getting a telly that can at least output at 720P is going to be like night and day.

lol, i play on sdtv and its fine..its JUST like WII or XBOX360..yes i played ALL SYSTEMS on a SDTV and HDTV...

maybe you need to get ur eyes cheaked, because in last guy, once you beat the level the game is over..LIKE MOST DEMOS...

i honestly think ur a fakeboy..I mean the last guy example (psn exclusive) and the HD cables(ps3 problem which shouldnt even matter to you if you dont own a hdtv, but appearently you do)...i mean, cmon kid, your just asking for it now.

My monitor have HDMI input and i do have a HDMI cable for the ps3... Is just that moving my monitor to the living-room is a hassle. I don't like hassle like that on my hobbies.
