ummm Move has no killer app that is exclusive to the hardware.
hence it'll be at best, on the level of popularity of the Playstation Eyetoy.
we'll see what the future brings. but at the moment it doesn't look so good.
then again Kinect looks cool from a user interface point of view. not for 'hardcore' gaming.

LOL so says YOU .... why not wait till it lanches...
NOT to mention it is not a list of all games that will be BC with Move.... :D ... BUT nice try
lol its funny seeing someone try to say its a flop from 1 review XDpretty much everyone expected it to flop. we just didn't know it would be this bad.
KarateeeChop
yeah and cnet is usually good
Proof, and with threads like this I don't think there will be much. http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=27431919the launch games are getting horrible scores, Move is in trouble.

[QUOTE="Giancar"]I only see Kinect hype threads made by lems cows don't really care for Move, as they have a pretty good lineup to look forwardblue_hazy_basicI don't even see many people hyped for Kinect, I don't see any ownage in either of them. TBH 3/5 is probably better than I expected. 3/5 on CNET equates to 'good' .If you watched the video, you would see that the only thing he referred to as a negative was the launch line-up. Of course, that isn't a good thing, but he didn't include the other games that are already out and will be patched to be playable Move. The only other bad thing worth mentioning in the written review was that it required constant recalibration. You gotta admit though, using "PlayStation Eye monopolizes a USB port" as a negative is just ridiculous. There's not much use for them when you play games and you could just buy USB hubs, which are incredibly cheap, if it's a problem.

sorry buddy Kinect will score higher. Also the launch lineup will probably in total not equal Dance Central sales, now thats saying something...
[QUOTE="ProjectNatalFan"]Sports champs and Eye Pet are scoring in the 8's, which is not exactly horrible... is it? Plus, THEY ARE $40!!!the launch games are getting horrible scores, Move is in trouble.
donalbane
yes well im sure dance central will score higher than both of them, but did you see the 3.5 out of 10's alot of the games were gettting oh noessssssssssss

No point responding if you don't have anything to base your assumptions on.Man! I miss the good 'ol days when we just pick up a controller and just play. I don't like motion controlling in my games (I don't even like dual shock). Xbox and PS3 owners should be embarrassed that they have to resort to hyping motion sensing garbage and the shovalware it comes with.
Shamefull....

Yea I'm saying fakeboy if thats true. He's talking about the guy who has Kinect's previous name as a username here.
ok enough of the arguing here lets get with the facts people , we all know nothing can beat the wiis motion because wii was shipped with it!
it is simple, add-ons are almost always guaranteed to not be a system seller, what you should focus on is games,
and games havent been released yet that use move to its potential,
so its a wait and see but going by past track of add-ons both kenict and move will only sell to those really wanting to buy it
it will not take away wiis main audience which is every one
it was never intended to
sure ms may say other wise but how can some thing that doesnt even play like wii take away wiis audience
kenict is more expensive then move which is why i think ill pick up move before kenict,
other then that idont see it selling the same 20-30 mill ps3 has already sold further more it wont make wii fall ,
it will just be an add-on for those willing to pick up
not even half of the audience of the ps3 or 3 60 side of things will even pick up these add-ons
the only successful add- o n i know of is the gameboy player btu only because gc only sold so much
so with that said ,
no add-on sells to half or more of the a udience or is a system seller, it needs games first for i can make a final judgment
on wh os better,
right now wii seams to hold the market down in the motion tech ,
ps3 360 are for fancy graphics and online,
wii =the family console, it has always been that way
nintendo is a fami ly company
they aim their stuff at every one ! they dont just look to one audience when making their titles their titles range from sh ooters to just fun to pick up and play games
which is why , i think theyll remain successful
sure wii sales are gonna slow down but , i dont think it will hurt n intendo in any way
they have pretty much won this race and the d s will always be their stronger point,
but i dont know because 2010 seams too good to be true for the wii ,
i mean how can you compete with goldeneye donkey kong country 4 zelda sws kirby metroid other m sin and punishment 2 etc etc
not to mention all third party studios are making games for wii far more then they did for the nintendo 64 or the nintendo gamecube
it is already a win win situation for all 3 ,
not much more to say but none of the 3 are in iminent danger
any one who thinks sony microsoft or nintendo is in danger of going sega/atari
is fu ll of it
they all have thier selling points,
and strengths ,
there is no reason why kenict move will be the reason for any flopage of any c onsole
, sure its gonna not sell as good as wii ,
but theres no real flop happening
they already sold 30 million 360 ps3s infact no console gen has seen all 3 sell 30 plus million consoles until now!
why because more gamers are entering thanks to the nintendo wii ,
the nintendo wii is paving the way the same way nes paved it
we cant jsut grow on graphics alone its appearent if all 3 aimed at graphics ones gonna go ,
nintendo aknowledged that and thanks to them more gamers are in
nuff said tc went over the edge here in trying to defend one of the others
but when this is all said and done all 3 have done what they came to do
There's no reason to complain about this until they start replacing regular controls with motion controls as a standard.Man! I miss the good 'ol days when we just pick up a controller and just play. I don't like motion controlling in my games (I don't even like dual shock). Xbox and PS3 owners should be embarrassed that they have to resort to hyping motion sensing garbage and the shovalware it comes with.

On another thread, CNET which is the brother site of GameSpot gave it a 3 out of 5. Sony had all this time to copy Nintendo and they couldn't even release some fun launch games, ah well. I'll wait for a price drop and more games that are actually fun to play later on.
I made a thread about Move reviews and impressions.60% rating from early reviews...

This is from the OP:
You'll notice that the CNET review is in there.
But it's not selectively chosen to try and distort the overall reception.
:)
It can work closer. In fact, Start The party gets closer in augmented reality so you can see the detail on the objects. Calibration is different for games , the 3 point calibration in Sports Champions can be done super fast and is no problem at all for the control it gives. Tethered to the cam?? Um wat??? PS Eye that also works as webcam and has its own motion games and the best motion controller this gen plus a game is a good deal for $100.Minimum of 6 feet of distance?
Tedious 3 part colloboration routine before each game?
Tethered to the eye camera, to a point where you can't really move around?
All that for $100?!?! Sign me up!

I skimmed through it. I still dont know what tethered to the cam could mean?? The cam see the game space ,how are you tethered and cant move when its all wireless?? Tethered would be the wiimote and nunchuck. It has received several good reviews. Besides, thats MS.......oh wait C-Net.djsifer01you do know that C-net and Gamespot are divisions of the same company right?

Divisions of the same company dosent change the fact C-net is know for MS bias.
LMAO, you realize that this review was like one of the only negative one dont you? Everywhere else its been getting like 4/5 adn stuff like that. Its reviewing very well, atleast the hardware is.
I was actually surprised by that price tag because it will cost 56 Euro around here which is cheaper than the 60-70 Euro for one new game. All that for $100?!?! Sign me up!

If you actually read the article the thread was based on, all your questions would be answered.
Why people respond to things ill-informed when the answer is a click away is beyond me

Did I miss the memo where its illegal to prefer something over the PC:?
Lol i just said that to my selfHow could hardware flop, especially without any hype measurement?

Yes, they are both part of CBS Interactive. CBS had a long standing relationship with. . .Sony. MS has had a long standing realtionship with NBC (MSNBC), one of CBS's rivals.
The Move seems to be solid, hardware-wise. However, the software seems to be subpar. I watched a review on Xplay for Start the Party(?) last night and the reviewer was pissed almost the entire time she was playing the game.
