PS3 no longer has Devil May Cry 4...now what?

Yes, you heard right...sony no longer will hold DMC4 as an exclusive title (yaaaaaye, lol anyway) and i think this

is really bad for them. DMC4 is a huuge game which many people want and Capcom had it as an exlusive for

sony the series (and PC cos DMC3 went to PC too) but now it seems the 360 will also get the game.

Consoles need games which you can't get on another console to convince people to get it just like nintendo

has mario, 360 has that Gears of War game and the PS3 had DMC4....now apart from Metal Gear Solid 4

what does the PS3 have left? Seriously i feel this is a blow to sony and is bad news for them.

This is not a sony sucks post or anything like that but i feel sorry for em. It would have helped heaps

if this game only came out on the PS3 for Sony (not being Sony i am glad though cos i will get the PC version :))

err...the amount of games lost/canceled on ps3 and 360 are about even, so they are averaged out. its pretty obvious that 360 at launch was not all that either. Theres only 2 games i played, n thats Oblivion and Gears.

May I flash back your memmory to last gen and remind u what system had all the good games and now that there are a few going to MS now u wanna brag like sony never had good games. The point is u seem to forget that sony with its 2 generations of domination in the console wars have a great history of great titles, where as for MS there is hardly any that I know of besides halo and forza and now gears of war but thats about it. Yes they have alot of upcoming games that look great but we still dont know how they will turn out, as for sony, they have alot of games that we all know will be hits, so before u celebrate victory, give the ps3 time to bring its big guns out aswell, then we can see how things fair from there. :)

Well said sir, Iron has a very short memory or just chooses to ignore all the great 1st and 2nd party games from sony that have come out over the years. All I have seen on the 360 is screenshots of new ip's using the unreal engine that are unproven. The 360 is doing okay right now thanks to it's early lead but all that can change in a couple of years when all the ps2 gamers upgrade to the ps3 and sony's big guns come out.

some of us dont have the luxury of not worring about which are the best and just buying them all

then there are people like me. I find the MGS series to be in a downhill slump, and it's been pretty mediocre imo. I don't really like rpgs, so I'm not a FF fan. Don't get me wrong, I respect FF a lot, but unless your future FF's are better than FF7, I don't think they're gonna be that helpful for the system... PS2 was known as the rpg console, well, if you like rpgs fine. I don't. Why the PS3 aim for a little variety here? If you want to persuade people the PS3 is worth buying (in terms of games, get off of the whole blue ray thing, that's completely irrelevant, this is gamespot not moviespot) you need to offer us some dependably good games. Of which I see none.

I buy consoles only for the block busters. Picking up random games is too expensive. What games do you think I bought for Xbox? Halo1, 2, Ninja Gaiden. What games do you think I bought for Gamecube? WindWaker, Metroid Prime, RE4, etc.

You don't know this, but in another thread on the forums I mention that Gran Turismo is my least favorite of all racing series.  I've always disliked the games.  God for War is good and all, but I would not buy a system for it.  It was hard to hand over the money, but Halo1 and 2 were enough to get that clunky xbox.  God of War is not doing it for me.  But hey, good news, it's a start!  Keep going!
