PS3 - Not powerful enough for split-screen...

so you cant play motorstorm with a friend in 2 player mode? thats alittle harshm but i guess since you can play online its ok.

When I played Gears split screen for the first time I have to say I was pretty amazed.  I expected to find a noticeable loss of quality or drop in framerate....I experienced neither.

Does F1 have split screen mode? Honest question as I really don't know.  In fact do any PS3 games run in split-screen mode? Maybe it simply isn't powerful enough?

To bad they had to dumb it down and took out on-line becuase of PS3's Frame Rate Issues

If Gears of War was to be released on the PS3

They'd prob have to take out Split-Screen also.

The thing is you cannot play against friends online either since there is no buddy system and you cannot invite anyone to a game.
