Agree... people get PS3 mainly for gaming, so as long as great exclusives keep coming PS3 will keep selling.. Price-cut though not confirmed am sure will be announced sooner or later, not saying this will happen in the next 2 months but it will definately be in 2009...

Also we had a blast yest on KZ2, we did good when we were on the same side.. too bad i had to leave early :)

i doubt it, there is no way the ps3 is going to sell 7 MILLION more consoles than the 360 before this gen is over, unless of course MS stop making 360's tommorow, the only way sony is getting 2nd place this gen is if they start selling ps3's cheaper than the 360, and beleive you me MS can drop the price even further on the 360 (they already make 70 dollars on every pro SKU sold) you lot should do the maths and realise that unless this gen goes beyond 2012, sony have no hope of beating the 360's install base, it's a question of common sense really.delta3074

yep i agree 7 million gap is a bit too much... i just hope Sony learns from the 'mistakes' done this gen so as not to repeat them next-gen..

However PS3/Sony have done a great job since early 2007, Games library is now on par with other systems, PSN is much better now and also PSN store keeps getting good updates.. Not forgetting the other multimedia features PS3 can be used for..

Sales have been hurt in the past 2 yrs mainly cause of the slow start in terms of games and definately cause PS3 is still expensive when compared to other consoles..

ps3 on rise until Monster hunter 3 and Dragon quest 10 are out and ps3 is not going take over the total wii sales ps3 is good consolekyacat

MH 3 will be out with FFVII advent children bundle and dragon quest 10 will be out with FFXIII in Japan so good luck all I can say PS3 is awakening.

PS3 will rise up and dominate it's always been just a matter of time. 360 has failures and now lack of exclusive games and the Wiis gimmicky ways will wear off on people.

This thread's title makes me think of communism.

It's just more damage control from cows. The PS3 was expected to be the market leader like the PS2

They need to bring games like Yazuka 3 and Demon Soul to North America sooner, that'll boost the PS3 sales quite a bit.
