Awesome, I would love a PS3, especially now that I know that it is good online. Now, I just want to decide if it's worth it, because I wont be able to play live with my friends anymore, haha.

PS3 online is very good, don't believe those who say that XBL is 100 times better. When it comes to games it depends because some games have dedicated servers but others don't and the service has nothing to affect. So, yes, if you're onto online gaming you can go for it.abuabed
If you say that PSn is very good, then Live must be excellent. Psn just makes things a lot harder to do then Live. Private chat between two players and In-game invites are just a few of the things that make much better then PSn. Tlking privatly to a few friends and leaving the main channel open for others makes Live so much cleaner. besides being able to do this while playing a stratagy based game to let your teammates know what to do is pricless. Playing one game while your friend is playing another and still being able to hold a conversation is also something PSn can't do. In-game invites also. Now PSn is not worthless. It does everything it need to do. It just doesn't do everything you want very freindly.

One of the first things I was taught in programming was to make your functions user friendly. If it isn't easy to use then the end user will not use it. And the programming you spent hours or days to develope and debug will not be used. Live is user friendly, PSn is not.
