same thing i tell everyone, make a list of exclusives on both system and see what you like more. but imo, i would get a ps3 because it has wireless, free internet (if $60 really bothers you), no batteries on the controller, and of course it has a blueray player, and some other things but just those bothered me a lot about the 360. well have fun with what ever you choose.
PS3. If you want to play PS2 games on it, you'll need to hunt down an older version, either the 60gb, 20gb, or the older 80gb. All new PS3's don't play PS2 games.

if you buy a 360, it will break. RROD, E# error, disc drive failure or it will just stop working. don't way se didnt warn you. thetruespin
don't listen to him, the new 360's are built better, even if you do get the RRoD then you have a 3 year warranty! don't include the RRoD in your choice of which system to buy, pretend it's not even there.

i have an idea for you, go to bestbuy buy a 360 pro, you have a month to return it if you don't like it, then go to gamestop buy your favorite exclusives *USED* and you can return them within a week for alll your money back, then do the same with the ps3 :P
Well the RROD isnt even that bad me and my friend were playing his 360 it came on i was like oh sh*t and he just restarted it and it was fineMyAlterEgo123
that is one of the first warning signs. happened to me. give it a few days / weeks and it will be dead.

oh... just think this over what exclusives do i like more? blueray matter? online pay bother me? what controller to i like more? what game genre do i like the most? (ps3 weak on rpg's right now) do i have 100$'s for a wireless adapter, or is there a router near by to connect my 360 to. idk similiar queations to that :P

thing that sucks though is the ps3 dont play ps2 games well at least the normal version dosent although it dose play regular dvds. and be carful only get ps3 if you have HD Tv check out my blog it could help!! 8)

Not anymore, you won't. PS2 BC is no longer available. That said, get a PS3. They're pretty much the same machine at this point, multiplats are a lot closer than they used to be (missing AA instead of reduced resolution), PSN is merely a lesser service now instead of the utter joke it used to be, and the Blu-ray player is an undeniable perk. Unless there's an exclusive you have to play (Gears or Halo on 360, Resistance or Killzone on PS3), then you can't go wrong either way.
i just cant decide i have a ps2 and i love it so i want to continue my games on PS3 but 360's are really fun

get a 360, because all the PS3 is is a Blu-Ray player that also plays games. So an Xbox is a DVD player that also plays games?? Personally I like PS3 better, it flat out does more, costs less in the long run, is better made, and has better games for 2008 and looks to have a brighter 09 as well.
i have started to think more twords PS3 i mean the only game on 360 i really want to get is GOW2 and on PS3 i really want MGS4 cause MGS3 is one of my favorite games of all time and i also want LBP and Resistance and besides dont just look at exclusives there are multi platform games that are great on both
also my parents said i would have to pay for the online and i know people say its worth it but i mean im just going to play games online i dont want to pay 50 bucks a year to shoot another person over the internet
Xbox360 is way better games..plus the only reason why i kept my dusty ps3 is for killzone2 & god of war 3 other than that i wouldve traded it in for some $$
