well consoles dont get porn sim games, pcs do =p, pc's do have more variety on some areas while consoles have others,

Pc's have more kind of sport games other then footbal,soccer,basketball and golf, RTS's, puzzle games, such as grim fandango, monkey island and myst.

consoles have fighters, and plataformers.

and the obscure titles such as the ones i mentioned before =p

As for value - you are buying a fully fledged computer, that can play the largest collection of games, emulators and DOSware. Not to mention all the other apps ect.
It is value.
