The vast majority of your little "larger amout of games" argument just went out the window right there. It all comes back the true basic argument that originally determined what system is worth buying.

Keep trying. Xbox 360 has more A+ games Xbox has more games than PS3. = Better ratted library, more games for back log of quality. Well, at the end of the day it depends on the exclusives. Do you like Halo or Gears of War? Will you be fine aiming guns with a controller? If the answer is yes, then you should consider a 360. Do you like some JRPGs, Catherine, Heavy Rain, GoW series? (not listing Uncharted, since you already played it) If the answer is yes, then you should consider a PS3. Be warned that there isn't that many JRPGs this generation on any platform except PSP. Here's a very complete list of exclusives. Games marked with "Yes" are pure exclusives, while games marked with "Console" are exclusive from the other console, but available on PC. The majority of the exclusives are very uninteresting, but you may find something to your liking aside from the few notable exclusives mentioned earlier: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_video_games_exclusives_(seventh_generation)Thats true, if there is a game thats available on PC, i'll buy it on steam every time as I mentioned im primary a PC gamer.

On topic:
The biggest problem with getting a 360 now is it requires another investment into the kinect add-on hardware to any significant use from up to date titles. This might be an investment you are willing to make, but before you decide on that you have to ask yourself, "are those games what I'm are looking for" and "do I want to play games like this".
I am sure xbox has more base games than PS3, however many of those games are inferior PC ports, and the other vast majority of the other excess are games from 2005-2006. For this reason, in my mind the "more games" argument for 360 is a wash. It really doesn't many anything if the are not high quality game experiences...especially if you are a PC gamer.
i am sure you are not looking into to console to play the largest amount of mediocore games you can find. You probably want high quality highly polised games, and in this area the diffrences in quality library is easy to recognize.
.... i really don't know why people go to a place called SYSTEM WARS for unbiased opinions, it baffles me
I see no reason why anyone would buy a 360 at this point, PC gamer or not, not only are you going to pay for online but you're not going to have any great games to look forward to other than the usual Halo/Gears/Forza game. Microsoft clearly isn't showing any core support. On the other hand, there are a whole slew of PS3 exclusives coming out, and new multiplats are very enjoyable on both systems. Not only that, but PS Plus is a much better deal than XBL.
Unless all of your friends have Xbox 360's, but that's a different story.

also, YOU made the comment, I was just asking your reasoning behind it. Why can't you explain your reason if you say something like this?
Doesn't matter which option you choose as both offer a large selection of games to choose from. Side caveats though: both consoles don't include HD cables, 360 comes with a headset where as the PS3 doesn't, PS3 offers free online compared to XBL subscription for 360, Xbox 360 offers a larger library of games to choose from, and XBLA offers more than PSN, PS3 can act as Blu-ray player, where as the 360 doesn't come with Blu-ray, 360 supports G & N Wireless, where as the PS3 supports G.
I really dont have any friends who has 360 or PS3 and also I don't usually play consoles online, almost none. I think PS3 would be a better choice in my case so i might go that route.

if you get a PS3, no matter what else you buy get Demon's Souls, amazing game in all respects.
Wait--why would a new buyer really care about that this late in the generation? That's like thinking about buying a PS2 back in late 2005 and then going, derp, no point in buying a PS2 now because future support looks like it's dwindling.I see no reason why anyone would buy a 360 at this point, PC gamer or not, not only are you going to pay for online but you're not going to have any great games to look forward to other than the usual Halo/Gears/Forza game. Because you'd want your console to have a long life? Playing 2007-8 games can only last you so long, especially when each of them are dirt cheap and easily completable. Why would a new buyer NOT care about buying a console that has a nice library of 2007-11 games while being ensured that there are plenty of games to look forward to? Especially if the new buyer wants to see the "latest and greatest" of gaming, most sequels have nailed the gameplay by now and solved all of the problems of their past games. Getting an Xbox now would mean that you're missing out on many great experiences such as The Last of Us that can only be experienced on Playstation 3.
